ATHENS â Georgia and Alabama are meeting again this season in the SEC championship game, but itâs not the same Georgia or the same Alabama, as Kirby Smart explained.

It’s kinda weird that 10-2 Alabama is the top seed in the SEC (best conference) championship game ranked 9th in the nation and Georgia is 11-1 and ranked 3rd. Then, if Bama wins they are projected to jump back up to at least 4th to get a bye? It just shows how bad the CFP committee is and how the conference championship games are losing relevance.
It's a different matchup in that the Dawgs defense is MUCH better than it was in September. The Sooners held them to 21 and beat them by 2. I think UGA holds them to 21 or less and wins by 10 or more. Just a hunch.
