ATLANTA â Georgia left no doubt about the direction of its football program with its dominant 28-7 SEC championship game win over Alabama on Saturday.

Wonder if Mr. Curtis tuned in for the game?
WHERE IS DAVID POLLOCK NOW?
*In my Rayn Day's voice
I just watched Pollack’s show and he admitted he misread it but in that, he stated a very funny but true fact:
The SEC has 16 teams. Yesterday, 15 of those teams had more rushing yards than alabama.
Hilarious.
Saw this article on another site - some interesting stuff…..
The Alabama Crimson Tide set a new low in the SEC Championship Game. The 28-7 win by Georgia was the fifth SEC Championship Game loss for Alabama. The 21-point deficit is by far the worst loss. Before Saturday, Alabama's worst had been two 15-point losses to Florida in 1993 and 1996. The Crimson Tide still leads all SEC football teams with 11 wins in the big game.
Another fact is that the 21-point loss was Alabama's worst loss against the Bulldogs since 1976. The '76 Tide team lost 21-0 to Georgia in Athens.
Even more stunning is that the Crimson Tide's net minus-three yards rushing against the Bulldogs was Alabama's worst since 1968, and according to multiple sources, it was also Alabama's second-worst performance since the 1940s. Almost as stunning are the 18 quarterback pressures applied by the Bulldogs.
There is little more worth discussing about the game. A hat tip goes to Kirby Smart, his staff, and his players. The Georgia Bulldogs outcoached and outplayed the Alabama Crimson Tide. Yes, Alabama was without key players, but that is no excuse. It was the Crimson Tide's too frequently seen weaknesses that made it no match for the Bulldogs. Had Georgia not had 80 yards in penalties compared to five for Alabama, the beating would have been even worse.
Just saw Paul Finebaum repeat the same stupidity…..The Dawg aren't a one player Team……The Dawgs are a TEAM, one for all and all for one…, Bobo was out but Malachi stepped up and filled the gap…..neither Finebaum or …..to my continuing disbelief, DP, The Snellville Sage fails to understand The Dawgs "NEXT MAN UP" concept, belief, culture and standard.

Awesome post with great facts!
I was at that game in 1976 as a first year UGA student, and have always said that it was the greatest game I ever attended……..now I have to add that qualifier as this was the greatest game I have ever seen Georgia play under the intense circumstances srrounding this win!
They were awesome as a TEAM and deserve every accolade they are getting!
Go Dawgs! Bama was ROLLED!
Awesome article @MikeGriffith !
I also would like to applaud Coach Kirby’s shout out to the Redcoat band!
As a father and father-in-law of two former drum majors of that wonderful representative of our university, I can tell you that those young people appreciated that more than anyone could know! Those band members put in many hours and sacrifice much to give us a show and those accolades from our Head Coach just shows the kind of man and leader that he truly is!
Many thanks Coach Kirby! You deserve all the great moments that you get!!
Go Dawgs! We ROLLED Bama!
