The truth of the matter was that Bama wasn't very good. They just couldn't run the ball. A better defensive plan in the first game would have stopped bama from even getting to this game. In fact, Deboer would be on the hot seat now. But, at that time in the season, no one knew bama's weakness, and Georgia was still very young in the secondary. Georgia needs to watch out for their attitude after this win. It's a really good win, but it's not a great win. There are much better teams down the road in Ohio State and Indiana. Teams that are tough and balanced. The dawgs are young, but they must handle this success.

"Penalties like that simply can’t happen, especially in high-leverage moments. Jones needed to be more composed on the drive."

I believe it is common for some of these guys to "bait" another player into an act of retaliation to draw the penalty. When I look at the replay of this incident, that could have been the case. Regardless, these guys need to be aware of and ready for such instances when the opponent resorts to desperate measures. High caliber players who are accustomed to winning don't always maintain their composure, so they start something physical. Most often it's the case that the guy who retaliates (Jones in this case) is the one who gets the flag.

No only did Dinkins slam Williams to the ground, but CJ Alen added an extra lick. That happened the entire game. Bama players are probably still icing. Go Dawgs!

Bama's lone touchdown was a gift from Demello.

We are really going to miss Zach Branch next year…. He is an All-American play maker. A franchise player…

Alabam is a very good team with talent as good as ours. They are a CFP team. The Dawgs just made them look bad on Saturday. Be careful; we may have to play them in the playoffs. Don't jinx us.

The Alabama jinx is over- We curb stomped them into negative 3 yards rushing. Never been done in any SEC Championship game

    Coaching....coaching....coaching.

    You cannot WIN....on talent alone.

While....These other guys, like Bama....spent all season tryin' to look pretty for the judges' "eye-test competition".

Kirby....was teaching his Dawgs how to play in the trenches together. As a team. Now, look at em...twisting and stunting their way to the quarterback on nearly every play.

And the UGA offense is coiled like a snake...waiting for the opportunity to strike. Without over extending and turning the ball over.

Go get em Big Red....I pity 'da fools. Lol

Btw....the National Championship Game, on January 9...

    UGA vs [Bama or Okla].

So...yeah.…we may get a 3rd shot at Bama. How does 2 Bama beat downs in a season, sound? In the playoffs! Convincing? Lol

I'd love to see it, myself.

I see what you’re driving at and there are allot of teams that would fall for the rat poison coming from outside. But Kirby Smart won’t let these Dawgs partake of that. He’s been down that road both as an assistant coach and head coach. He’ll have them hungry and humble. Be assured he’ll bring up last year vs ND.

He said many of them were wanting to go Practice right after the game !! Were actually looking forward to Bloody Tuesday !! These Dawgs know where they are and where they want to be. Beating Bama gave them a Huge confidence boost that they Needed but I don’t think they will be arrogant. They’ll be ready. Go Dawgs !!

And, didn't make the "Coaches All SEC First Team".

In fact, only two UGA players made the first team…..CJ Allen & the long snapper for Special teams.

Mizzou, Texas A&M and Texas cleaned up with 3 or 4 on the 1st Team...each. Lol...smh...yeah, okay. I ain't buyin' it.

The Dawgs are STILL being disrespected. Oh well...one game at a time...one season at a time.

    Go Dawgs!
