Probably neither qualified with number of kicks as a minimum…….

especially Thorsen who went several games without punting at all!! He will be noticed at the next level, for sure!

I would surely never trade anyone on our specialty teams for another team's……these guys were fantastic this year!

"Allen is also a finalist for the Butkus Award, which goes to the nation’s top linebacker."

Yes, he was, not is, a finalist. Rodriquez from TTech won the Butkus 4 days ago.

BigDawg61, I appreciate your willingness to tell it like it 'tis. I don't know who "butt hurt" the people that determine stuff, but the Dawgs always get the short straw. Screw a bunch of participation trophies! If a player deserves it, give them a Laurel and Hardy handshake, but give the honors to those that deserve it.

What really kind of irks me...and, I would assume Dawg Fans in general...is that.....

It took Superman for UGA's Football Program to garner a Heisman Trophy Winner....since Frank Sinkwich.

And, that was Herschel Walker. They tried like hell, not to give it to Him. His Freshman year was his best...imo. That one should've been a "Trophy Year" too.

Charlie Trippi should've gotten one too, back in the mid '40's. But, they couldn't stomach giving it to another UGA Player.

I see they don't mind setting up a conveyer belt from the Heisman....to Oklahoma...to OSU...to Alabama....then,...back up north to Notre Dame and out west to Cali....with a stopover in Michigan.

Georgia is a "detour route" they use….when no other player in the Country stands out. Lmao.

Really shocked at some of these especially no Drew Bobo as 1st team. And Chambliss ahead of Gunner😂 That’s ok more motivation for the team.

Ya gotta ask yourself...who puts out this list?

Evidently, it's in the title. "Coaches".

Looks to me, like a group of coaches got together and decided they were gonna see if they could have a negative impact on Kirby's recruiting....to slow him down long enough for them to catch up and catch their breath. Lol

So...they snub UGA players for 1st team and select their teams' players, only.

Why not!? Who pays attention to those lists anyway? Hype'sters and HS football recruits. It impresses em to see that Texas, Missouri, Texas A&M and Oklahoma have the lions share of those first team spots.

Lol....just a theory. Makes more sense than the alternative....that the Dawgs only have 1 pick on a team of All-Stars. Lol….ridiculous!...imo.

Yall this list is a bad joke. On the people who made it. They will look pretty silly when the Dawgs hoist another National Championship Trophy !! But it’s all good they do this on pretty much every thing. Always snub our Dawgs. Well they can cry on their participation trophies while our Dawgs keep winning and get the Real trophy !! Plus the NFL folks see through all the hype. Go Dawgs !!

Navy....they've been looking silly for years. Imo. I'm not sure why they need another list....but, it rarely lines up with reality.

The so-called "Best of Lists" got blown out of the water in '21 & '22.

How many of the Dawgs Draft Picks were left off the lists. And, how many players put on the list ahead of some of the Dawgs...went on to sell Insurance. Lol

Dude...."they" don't know what they're talking about. Did you see where Pollack actually picked Bama to beat UGA 27-14 in the SECCG, due to an injury at Center. Lol. What the hell was he thinking?...if that's what it was.

Just because some of these guys played ball....doesn't mean they weren't using their brains as the football. They can't all be Smart. Lol.

Btw....Saban picked Bama too. I think Kirby Smart, was the brains of that outfit, as well. Lol

I think BigDawg61 has it right. Any little thing a coach not named Kirby can do to possibly get a recruiting edge.

How did Raylen Wilson not make any of the teams? This is ridiculous
