Two Georgia football players arrested on shoplifting charges
Georgia football players Dontrell Glover and Bo Walker were arrested on charges of theft by shoplifting, a misdemeanor, on Friday, according to the Athens Clarke County jail log. The Athens Clarke County police were the arresting agency.

Yep. Agree. And Glover is pretty critical to the play off run. God spared Walker’s Life from the car wreck and he wants to go out and shop lift ? Look I was going to, and Yes I did idiotic things to. But they have SO Much at stake for Themselves and the Team. There’s NO time to ever pull idiotic things like this but now is even worse !! Doesn’t Glover in particular realize that NFL scouts will be watching him even though he’s a long way from his time for the draft. NFL scouts don’t wait till the last year they watch these freshmen. Not good. Not good at all.

In Georgia, a first-offense misdemeanor shoplifting (under $500) often results in probation, fines ($1000 max), community service, anti-theft classes, and potential pre-trial diversion for dismissal, but jail (up to 12 months) is possible, with attorneys often getting better outcomes like no jail time or diversion programs for first-timers, avoiding a permanent record…$1500 bond, $1000 fine, a really good attorney to avoid jail time…priceless….One hell of a way to spend all that NIL money! Looking to me that these two Dumbazzzes are not Dawg material.
I'm sure these guys make NIL money. Why resort to petty larceny? Just dumb. And no jack offs they don't deserve to be kicked off the team. None of us know the facts. My guess is the charges will be dropped down the road.

No don’t kick Em off the team but KS should draw some blood from Em !! As some of you have said wait till the facts come out which Is safe advice. But it’s pretty simple if they exited the store without paying for any items from the store and no receipts to show that they did then it’s shop lifting.
They Must be outside the store with the items though as I understand it. Inside the store they can say they planned to pay for the items. I hope some how some way for their sake and for the Team it turns out they are innocent. But businesses are careful about this sort of thing to avoid lawsuits. In summary it ain’t looking good for Em.
Wow!! They are pros now and paid no telling how many zeros in the check. The anti-SEC media is going to explode! I have no desire to open up The Athletic for about two weeks. Dang!!!
So just asking your opinion and anyone here that cares to answer. Let’s say they get off light and are able to return to campus/tram. Will Kirby let Glover play in the playoffs ? He has become a pretty critical piece. Could possibly use Walker but at this point he’s not as critical. I Know there are others who can step in to Glover’s place but this hurts the depth.
More importantly it’s Embarrassing to UGA. Your thoughts ? And anyone else feel free to chime in.
In Georgia you do not have to be out of the store to be arrested for shoplifting. The moment you conceal merchandise is the moment you have committed shoplifting which includes changing prices on goods.
