Hilarious!! I don't blame him one bit, I despise hearing that song, much less singing along with it..
That’s awesome! I would’ve done the same! 😂
Anyone who put RockyTop on a Christmas song list should be drawn and quartered.
Subjecting children to the indignity of singing it - anytime, anyplace, and especially at Christmas - should lead to ostracization.
Hopefully this travesty (and act of defiant heroism) occurred in Tennessee, but that's no excuse.
Go, Dawgs!
Love it!!! Sign that dude up today because he’s a DGD……and looks to be a future all star lineman. Go Dawgs!!!
I agree 100%..in what world is rocky flop a Christmas song? I'm like you, I hope that didn't take place in a Georgia school, the only place that "Christmas" song belongs is in tennessee lol
Bravo !! Well said Jim !! And that guy is a DGD for sure !!
Connor Riley, where is the school located?
Most folks don't know but…Rocky Top song had nothing to do with the Vols or their football program. I can remember proudly singing this old bluegrass song back in the late 60s -early 70s with my partying friends as a young man way back when they lowered the drinking age to 18 and if you had facial hair, you could buy it at 15. It didn't become the Tenn state song until the early 80s but a Vol tradition of playing the song at halftime began in the early 70s at which time we Dawg fans put the song on our do not play hate list…sweet memories indeed.
Probably West Texas knowing Connor lol. Details are overated…
Priceless!!!! This made my day. I had season tickets for 28 years and when TN visited the visitors were five rows up from me and we had to listen all day. Hate that dang song!!
This school needs a lesson in what Christmas songs are. Rocky flop is not a Christmas song. I wish we could find out where this school is. Bravo to the young man for standing his ground and to his parents for raising him right.
Go Dawgs!
This is the kind of indoctrination at school that we should be worried about. This is child abuse, as is dressing a child in any shade of orange-To quote an AL shirt "Nobody looks good in orange". That shirt was useful 5 times when I got it in 2024
should be named Rocky Flop
Starting them young that is for sure. Love the dedication lol
So why report this and not say where it was?
