"Georgia next takes the field on Jan. 1 when it plays in the College Football Playoff. The Bulldogs face the winner of Ole Miss-Tulane."

Great closing point, thanks for uniformly tying everything together in the article, Connor…how will Muschamp hiring give Texas unintended consequential advantages?…by having Georgia play the winner of Ole Miss-Tulane on Jan. 1st, that's how. Well done ol boi…I smell Pulitzer!

Dollar first 5 stars aren't willing to put in the blood, sweat and tears…ie: potential injury sustained in practice, day after day. It takes a young man with the TEAM first attitude….maybe Will can help recruit those types but I'm afraid The Longhorn penchant for paying Dollar First 5 Stars to play defeats it…..we will see in 27???

“The hope for Sarkisian is that adding Muschamp better prepares the Texas offense for what it might see if and when it next plays Georgia.”

Wow, now Kirby Smart is living rent free in Steve Sarkisian’s head and Lane Kiffin’s head at the same time! Maybe he could land that SEC Coach of the Year Award once he takes up residence rent free in Deboer’s head as well. I can imagine CKS sitting back and laughing like a Bond villain!

    GO DAWGS!

Wished he was satisfied with DC 💰 at his alma mater, winning Natty's, & developing NFL draft picks.
But, don’t think his & Kirbys ego can exist in the same ecosystem.
    And after all…he is a Florida native, so loyalty isn’t a factor👎🏻

Pretty obvious how hiring CWM gives TX advantages. Spelled out clearly in the article. TX hired a guy that knows the UGA D inside and out. Expect the TX D to now employ many of the same defensive concepts employed by UGA. TX now has that expertise in all their meetings and on their practice field.

As for "unintentional"? Nothing was more intentional than this hire. Sark is starting to feel the heat from his failures against UGA. Who cares that he hasn't been a CFB DC for a few years. No one else, available or not, knows the UGA coach, program or schemes better than CWM.

Muschamp Is a dirtbag, who helped his South Carolina team tear up the hedges, walking around Dooley Field after the game with a piece of the hedge in his mouth, just like the GT dirtbags.

Warning Way Off Topic !! Anyone watching OU vs Bama ?? Muschamp broke my heart with his move to TX. But I guess he’s got to do what’s best for him and his family. Though Yes it hurts to lose him, especially to TX. It’s Not like the end of the world, KS and the Dawgs have faced him before so if he knows Kirby’s plans Kirby knows his to. It is what it is. I have mourned now I’m moving on. So far OU is giving Bama fits very early second qtr. OU up by 10-0. No way I’m rooting for Bama. Go Dawgs !!

Well 17-17 at half because of terrible self inflicted wounds by OU. Looked for a moment they had Bama by the throat. See what happens second half…….

I agree with those who say this hire by Sark was definitely an "INTENDED" consequence. Georgia has indeed become THE BEAST OF THE SEC. I'm not that worried about the move. As we've seen lately, A LOT can happen in the next year before we even play Texas. But something tells me there's more to this than what we're hearing and reading. Maybe Muschamp just wanted to get back to the front lines of coaching, and that's fine. But I think if Kirby really wanted to keep him around UGA. he could (and would) have found a way. And I never believe these coaches who say they want to step away to spend time with their families and watch their sons. Didn't our former 0-Line coach say that, then wind up at South Carolina? Imagine Kirby saying that when his boy goes to college. Ain't happening.

I hope our players watch these games !! And be reminded not to make **** penalties like hitting guys out of bounds !! OU player just gave Bama excellent field position doing that. And even as I’m typing this it gave Bama a shorter field to a TD. Penalties are taking OU out of this game !!

Um is there some sort of rule that holding can’t be called on Bama ( yes sarcasm) ? They seem to get away with it quite often. This really bad one right in front of the Ref. It gets pretty old. 🙄
