I'm sorry but I can't believe those 2 games tonight. Participation awards at best while simultaneously knocking down teams that actually deserved it. It's ass backwards! Ole Miss literally paid this team earlier in the season to lose at home. They have to get this G5 scenario out of the playoffs. Give them their own G5 national championship. It's embarrassing for these teams to go out there and lose like that after all the smoke blown up their butts for beating glorified high school teams. ND, Texas, Vandy or heck even BYU could've been in these games. I'm curious to know the viewer total for those games compared to the ones played last night and at noon today. It's dumb. I know those kids are talented, but in no world were they ever winning these games. I mean no disrespect, but these games do a great disservice to the level of CFB being played in other leagues. Hopefully that room full of… extremely special people get the memo. In other news, I'm excited for matchup #2 vs Ole Miss. Their offense was still able to execute fine without Kiffin, albeit who they were playing… they looked good.

Couldn't agree more. If the G5 teams want to be treated as equals to the P4 teams, then let them compete as equals for the top 12 spots, not just have it handed to them. Unless this is changed, we will continue to see this disservice every year.
Would never, ever wish an injury upon a competitor….. maybe their over-eager, trying to prove something Coach should not have put him back in the game after he came out holding his shoulder the first time……..in a game that his team was easily handling!
That being said, as good as Lacy is, that can only help our chances if he is not able to go……He is a dang good player!
Actually, hope he is able to play so they won’t have any excuses after we boat-race them!

Tulane and James Madison proved they belong, not sure where though.
This injury thing with Lacy is a non-issue. He played after getting "bruised" and he has 12 days to heal. He'll be there when they kick off.
Agree! My point was that maybe their Coach should not have put him back into the game after he came out the first time holding his shoulder…..especially with the game in hand

I turned the Ole Miss game off shortly into the 3rd qtr and watched 1 series of the Oregon game. I had been looking forward to the playoffs, but those 2 games ****.
A Much more interesting game would have been JMU vs Tulane.
Agree with everything you said - but CF is sitting there with one foot in and one foot out when it comes to the playoffs versus the bowl games, which are no longer relevant. I look for them to keep adding teams until they totally kill off the bowl games.
Guessing they figure that in a playoff system, they all have something to play for vs the bowl - thus creating more eyes on the set. It's all about the money, wish they would have left the entire thing alone.ut
But on the other hand, I guess it all is growing on me.
Hopefully they will re-evaluate who is selected to the CFP. Really needs to be the top 12 ranked teams. Dolly Madison and the Green Sea Monsters deserve a bowl game but should not have been included. Need to drop the conference champs qualification.
i love how ESPN/ABC kept the 2 good games and pawned off the G5 games to TNT and partners. Nice season for Tulane (as a Navy alum, I see a fair amount of the American) but no way should they (or JMU) have been involved in the CFP.
