“He’s kinda come out of his shell a little bit, and you’re able to see more true of what Gunner Stockton is and who he is as a quarterback,” Bobo said. “And he knows he’s not even close to reaching his ceiling. The idea of a male athlete being better at age 28 than he was at 21 is not novel in any sense …

Great and timely article by CR. Really makes you appreciate Coach Bobo; the amount of content and insight from this one interview is much higher than a typical coach's interview. I know many (myself included, briefly) have doubted our OC, but I wouldn't trade him for anyone at this point...

Guys like Bobo are tethered to UGA not because of history, but because they want to improve where they came from. Bobo has done an admirable job IMO. These guys bleed red and black and want to help get the next guys the championships they deserve. That's Georgia LOYALTY. Hopefully it hits paydirt. Every team pays big bucks to be in the hunt. UGA is always right there. After the Dawgs beat Ole Miss, hopefully, they can rachet it up for the next one.

I hope coach Bobo lets the criticism he hears roll off his back. He's a very fine coach and he loves UGA. I know of very, very few OC's that aren't criticised relentlessly—the one exception being the great Todd Monken. I think it just comes with the job.
