I think this game for the dawgs "lives or dies" based on how the Georgia defense operates. If they are the same unit that faced Bama in the SECCG, they will shut down the run of the Ole Miss QB and RBs and force the QB to win with his arm. He is an excellent passer, but I don't think the creative pass rush that coach Schu has created over the past couple of games will allow him much time to be successful. The Georgia offense will be instrumental in working clock and I think Stockton will have a "do or die" attitude that will match his best performance of the year when these two teams faced off earlier in the year. Dawgs by 2 TDS!
If the Defense contains the QB and covers the middle well from crossovers, and if the offense can run the ball, limits big plays, etc…
Depite all the skill players from each team, it'll come down to the line of scrimmage. The lunch pale, smash mouth dudes. Sure if there is an imbalance in turnovers and/or special teams, that could be a difference-maker. Otherwise, it'll come down to who's toughest in the trenches, exerts their will, and controls the clock and flow of the game. Georgia's culture = physicality, so I like our odds. Is there a better coach in the college game at making adjustments? Kirby will have the team dialed in and the adjustments from the first time we played Ole Miss will be evident. That doesn't mean Ole Miss won't break a few big plays, it is what they do, so of course they will. Limit the huge plays on defensive breakdowns to two and it's game over…Dawgs by 14
