No one wants to come to Georgia and play on Mike Bobo’s offense, doesn’t matter about money because Georgia doesn’t pay the same as other contenders.

Searles is a retread. If I'm Kirby I'm sweet talking Pittman back into the fold. Then I'm bringing in Hines Ward in place of Coley (another retread) to resurrect the receiver room. Todd Monken would be too good to be true. Actually any or all of them would be too good to be true. Kirby will stand pat. He's too stubborn. Kirby is becoming Dabo 2.0 Elite players just don't see Georgia as a good option anymore. Recruiting and the number of players hitting the portal every year proves that point.

Don’t know how you stay in the recruiting arena, Jeff. You’re a better man than I.

3* - no big loss here. Pittman and Luke recruited 5*s, Searals seems content with 3*s. Bring back Pittman!

Sounds like Dawgs were keeping him in the back pocket and not giving him the attention he thought he deserved. Hard to get worked up either way after years of watching 5-star QBs jilt us at the Signing Day alter, and the elite talent in this state continue to go westward.

Love Kirby !! Still think he personally is the best HC in all CFB. I’m probably wrong and I’m pretty good at that. But it seems to me he should at least Think about some changes. But the comments he makes to media it seems he’s “ Satisfied” with All of his current staff. And the current program ideologies and philosophies. Satisfied. A word that Kirby in the past would have got angry if he heard that.

OK Yall what I say next is from my heart. Deep in my heart. I’d ask to be treated with some dignity. Not necessarily Respect as I know I have to Earn that.

My Daddy was my Hero. To Me he was the best man in this world. When he died at only 62 of pancreatic cancer it utterly Crushed me !! I Did my job and I did what was required of my job. But I was a zombie. Just going through the motions. Just doing what was required.

Kirby Definitely Loved and had Huge respect for his Dad. His Dad coached him in HS. His Dad offered him sound and sage advice all through his (Kirby’s) coaching years. If Yall recall Kirby’s Dad took a fall while in New Orleans for all the pre-Sugar Bowl festivities. He broke his hip. Now that’s a pretty serious thing but after a lengthy hospital stay you’d normally think all would be well.

Mr. Smart passed away the day before the game. And To Me it seems Kirby has never been the same. Those of you here who have lost your Dad and loved and respected him deeply know exactly what I’m saying. There are some people unfortunately who have or had really bad blood between them and their Dad, maybe their Dad was really abusive and they Don’t understand.

Those of you who Still have your Dad and hold allot of Love and respect for them. You better Tell them and hug their neck Every opportunity you get. Same for you Mom. With All due respect if you Still have your Dad and Love and respect him, you have No Clue how it feels when he passes away.

It is a pain so deep I can’t even begin to explain. Some macho man will say “ Ah just gotta shack it off, move on”. Well I boxed in HS. Spent eight years in the Navy. Then twelve years working in the Dept. Of Corrections before by the Grace Of God I was able to transfer to another state agency for fifteen more years. I think I’m as macho or rather Was as the next guy.

Has anyone noticed that Over All Kirby doesn’t seem to have the same fire he used to ? Oh he still does in spurts. But he’s just not the same Kirby. It took me most of three years to Really collect myself and get back to full speed of living. Perhaps Kirby will be similar Only quicker than me.

Going back to New Orleans, the Sugar Bowl almost assuredly brought back bad memories. So, So Many times I’ve wanted to pick up the phone to call my Daddy and ask him what would he do in both serious and not so serious issues. But Daddy and Mama are both in Glory land now. If I make it to May Good Lord willing I’ll be 69 seven years older than Daddy was when he passed away in 1993. I Still have times I want to call him for advice.

Some very callous folks will say “ Well Kirby is paid $13 mil a year to coach UGA football”. Well it doesn’t matter if he’s $33 Million a year you can’t just snap your fingers and get over the passing of the greatest man in your life since your birth. I’m Believing the Kirby we all saw before the sad passing of his Dad will be back. Probably pretty soon. And with more fire than ever !! Go Kirby !! Go Dawgs !!

It is now all about the money. The almighty dollars has reared its **** head. Here is some advise to all you young players, make your decisions wisely, yall are entering the BIG BOY world now and it is going to be cut throat. With this money in your contract will also be a clause about performance you don't preform to their expectations YOUR GONE, one less paycheck they have to pay. So think about it long and hard and don't let the $$$ signs fog your decision. GO DAWGS

I pay very little attention to commitments prior to the signing date, we'll have a 27 signing class and as far as I'm concerned those guys will be our commitments.
