Probably good that Aguero leaves and opens a slot for a young stud or a better transfer portal veteran.

Aguero was a good player. Probably didn't live up to his ranking expectation but was oft injured. He has room to grow to still make his ceiling. From what i saw of Barnes he is more Star than FS. Could be part of Aguero's decision.

The point here isn’t whether the Dawgs are losing a player who would significantly contribute next season. The point is that the system is broken. Whatever happened to loyalty, camaraderie, love of school, etc.? College football is no longer about a bunch of youngsters playing a game they love with teammates they love for a school they love. Personally, I prefer the way it was more than what it has become.

A decent player but often hurt and somewhat inconsistent. With Dinkins and the Clemson transfer, he was going to play a depth role. Not a huge surprise. Maybe he'll get a nice check from Boston College or UMass.
