And speaking of NIL go to this link Wow !! https://apple.news/ANyUP_T3MT0ii--U5si1GWQ

In case the link don’t work LK and LSU offered the Cincinnati QB $3.5 Million and he turned it down !! LSU giving LK up to $30 Mill to spend on NIL to build a roster !! This is the new face of CFB. When I say LSU Yall know I mean the boosters. I don’t think the actual school can give NIL. Sad times for CFB fans. Glad times for high profile players !!

The NCAA allows the schools to spend up to $20.5M. That figure has to be spread across all sports.

Hey Thanks Brother !! I wasn’t aware of that. I guess in OM’s case maybe the school is gonna fund part of it and boosters or other supporters the remainder. But LK is gonna have up to $30 Mil to build his roster !! Mind boggling !! What’s more mind boggling is the QB from Cincy turning down $3.5 Mil !! Either he’s got an even bigger offer from else where or he’s super loyal !! IF it’s the later he will get Tons of respect from me !! I mean turning down $3.5 Mil to stay at Cincy is ultra loyal and So rare these days !!

Sure would like to come here to DN and read something along this line: Four very high profile players have transferred To UGA. With one exception it’s players leaving !! Yikes !!

It's all part of the new process….if you're made of real DAWG stuff you hone your skills, you wait for your opportunity and when it comes you build your resume, and earn your pedigree and you become a DGD and likely a very high draft pick…..just like Daylen, CJ, Christian, Zach……though I know you all don't need it, Best of Luck at the next level……….then there will always be those who come and discover their resolve leans toward easier paths where work to hone skills, competition, patiences and commitment to TEAM quickly fade… so thank goodness for the TP….

WARNING OFF TOPIC And I sure hope Bad wrong. I don’t do Facebook for allot of reasons, used to a long time ago. My wife does and she said some people were saying rumors of Kirby going to the NFL. She said she thinks remembering it was mainly the Falcons !!

So just something out of the rumor mil, but have any of Yall heard something like that ? I sure hope and think that Kirby is smarter than that. R. Morris was only with the Falcons for two years and they canned him.

So even if they paid him say $15 Mil vs the $13 Mil he’s getting now. If he only lasted two years he’d get $30 Mil vs the $39 Mil he Would have got by staying at UGA. And that’s assuming his current pay at UGA was froze with no pay raises over those three years !! Coaching SEC level football is I’m sure extremely difficult and challenging but coaching in the NFL would be that X 10 !!

@navydawg - Kirby has consistently complained about recruits making decisions based on NIL money. Wouldn’t it be ironic if he took the Falcons job because of a higher salary? Plus, if you aren’t satisfied with $13,000,000+, you won’t be satisfied with $15,000.000. How much money does it take to live comfortably nowadays anyway?

Amen !! To be totally honest, for me and my wife $13 Mill would give us 13 years of Very nice living to us !! VERY nice by Our standards. That’d be $1 Mill a year we’ve never dreamed of that kind of $$ !! Compared to what we have which we are Very Thankful to the Lord for just $1 Mill would be like royalty to us !! And my Brother like me you Know it won’t mean a thing when we leave this old world !!
