Would have been nice to get a few more details on the injuries. Is this something that will continue to impact his performance/speed? Have we now filled up the WR room?

Sentell said in article that we were full with Marquese. Then he bolted at last minute. Forced our staff to refocus. We were looking at Samson Gash initially to try to fill spot and then Dickerson, who we had some interest in earlier in cycle opened his recruitment back up when his coach at Kentucky got fired.

Believe his injuries were minor but hindered his ability to get on the field like his previous year playing with Landon at the receiver position.

All we really need is at least a couple of guys to step up and really consistently play elite, be able to get open, and stay healthy. Add a TE or two in there with an OL to protect Gunner, and we can do great things!!

Our DL and defense in general is stacked now! Guys just gotta stay healthy.

From the comments during the game last night, it sounded like Cignetti gives his guys plenty of time off and doesn't practice them to death. Maybe that's a good thing, huh?

10.36 100 meters - that is moving out. If you translated that, that would be a sub 9.5 100 yard dash. Not many humans can do that…and he will probably get faster.

Also runs a 4.42 40….so he’s not only fast, he’s quick too with a decent size.
Looks like another one that came in under the radar - star ratings.

Guessing he will be one that will stick with the program. Plenty of upside and a good addition imo.

Let's hope his word means more than Brady's.

It appears that Woodring may stick around, that would be huge also IMO.

    Wow, a 3-star! I'm sure he's a diamond in the rough….

Why can't UGA attract any elite talent at WR? hmmm…

Great to add any new, fast receivers to the team. But again, if Kirby is terrified of developing a true downfield passing attack, I don’t think it will make any difference. We are still probably not replacing the talent level of Branch and Young which even if so, would be a neutral change from this year. We have stayed conservative almost every year while each successive quarterback “matures and develops” right up until they graduate, go to the NFL, or hit the portal. Then we wash, rinse, and repeat.

Rest assured, every rec League coach could spot Bobo’s alternating plays With backfield passes and runs up the gut. No element of surprise and no downfield threat with regularity.

While we have to do a component of traditional Recruiting, it’s the limited playbook and restricted passing game that is turning away most of the blue chip quarterbacks and receivers. Not much of a way to exercise your skills or build a résumé for the NFL. That’s the real problem here is that all of these things fit together like a puzzle. The rigid philosophy, conservatism, combined with the NIL and it’s a very tough task.

The last 5-star QB that worked out at UGA was Matthew Stafford…
