Well, I hope we're pushing for someone (QB or otherwise)... I like the transfers that have been announced so far, but not sure we really moved the needle as much as we could/should.
As several have mentioned, I'm surprised we haven't seen more O-line action, plus a few other less-than-deep positions.
Is this TP action, with the known depletion of recent UGA recruiting classes (leaving for similar "elite" teams like Ole Miss and OSU, in several cases) really stepping up the aggregate talent enough for changed results next year? I hope so. Not obvious right now 🫤
Please don't spend NIL $$ on Beaver… with all due respect, he's no better than (if as good as) our QB 1-3. Please spend that $$ on Jordan Seaton, who has already demonstrated Sunday-level OT talent, and we need a sure thing to protect Gunner's blind side and give him more time/confidence. Go Dawgs!
Why don't we try for Raiola?
He had his chance to be a DAWG and passed on it..same thing UGA needs to do concerning raiola. UGA has already wasted enough time, and resources on him when they recruited him out of HS. Only to have him flip to Nebraska at the last minute. I wouldn't give him a second thought if I was Kirby.
Plus our QB roster and pipeline are in great shape. But we don't have an LT in particular, and the OL depth in general is a big ?? Go Dawgs!
Id hate to lose any of UGA's QB's by aquring another QB from the portal. May play, may not, and end up transferring again, if they have any eligibility remaining. And as you said, I'd much rather see road grader OL taken from the portal, instead of another may or may not work out QB, and possibly lose 1, if not 2 current QB's on the roster..GoDAWGS!
Let's see if I have this right…he commits and signs with Oregon, shows up for a week…and then enters the portal without ever attending a practice? And we want him why?
Agreed, the portal news hasn't been needle moving for sure…sounds like to me, if we are to improve over this past season's performance all our stock is in Gunner mastering the 20 yard out route with a shallower OLine…interesting concept.

Kirby likes a solid 4 QB team to workout I read. I too would also like to see some OL and DL beef.
Paying $$ for a practice squad QB while our OL needs major reinforcement is insane. Besides, if Beaver is considered "solid", we already have 4 of those. Go Dawgs!
You can have both. Practice squad QB is cheap.
I am confused. People were upset when Curtis backed off. Not just that he was a 5 star , but we needed a QB for the 2026 round. Now they are mad that we got a QB in the 2026 round.
Some folks feel that money is best spent on the OL at this time. I don't understand why Puglisi has been riding the pine this long. Is he not as good as I think he is?
