I saw Mario Cristobal on a show talking about how pssst off he was when he saw how crappy the program had gotten. Didn't sound like he has any respect

Forgetting CFB for a moment I wouldn’t trade Mark Richt the man for 100 Cristobal’s of the Mario vintage.

Mark Richt Great man, pretty good Coach.

But I can’t and won’t pull for Miami. And No not because of Beck. I really don’t care with our Dawgs out of it. But I admire and respect Mendoza so I’m gonna sort of pull for IN.

I look for the two teams to feel each other out in the first qtr. and maybe early second qtr. Then IN will crush Miami. Just my options…..

@NCMtnDawg What was Miami's won-loss record the 10 years preceding Cristobal's hire? You probably don't care. Cristobal, who grew up in Miami as a fan of the team, actually does. Miami has 4 ten win seasons since losing the 2002 national title game to Ohio State. Cristobal has 2 of them. Richt has one. Coker has the other, in 2003. Like Jim Donnan at UGA, Richt laid the groundwork for turning Miami around but he didn't finish the job. And there was another coach between Richt and Cristobal, Manny Diaz, who did a really bad job.

@ navydawg..i don't care for either indiana, or the "u".. I hope the game goes into 24 OT's still tied, every player is so tired they cant even walk onto the field for the start of the 24th OT, the game is called and declared a tie 😂

Perhaps what NcMtn is "saying" is that despite the history you point out (and Miami fans are well aware of), that doesn't make it okay for Cristobal to publicly disrespect good people who've done very good things for the community, profession, and school. We all say things we regret…I'm giving Cristobal the benefit of the doubt he'd like that one back, while not giving up his passion for the U and commitment to a high standard. Go Dawgs!

Now That would be funny !! 🤣 And don’t you know the advertising sponsors would love it !! Or then again they might not. I’m like you though with our Dawgs not in it really doesn’t matter to me.

@khummel Great comments Here and on the other thread !! Keep on !!

Rarely has a fan-base loved an ex-coach that got fired as much as GA fans love Mark Richt.

Well said !! And True !! He epitomizes a belief I also hold as true that Respect is Earned not Taken or Obligated. Mark might not have obtained some of the goals he’d have liked to for himself and UGA. But Mark the man is very well respected through out this state and others. He certainly has mine !!

Well fellas (I'm assuming), unlike you I'm pulling for both teams with genuine personal interest. Being a native south Floridian with family and friends who are Miami alums, as well as most of my kinfolk being farmers salt-of-the-earth people from Indiana, I'm pretty happy with whoever wins… except still miffed because I think our Dawgs coulda whupped 'em both. Yeah I know, that last comment is all homer. Go Dawgs!

I thought Indiana already won the championship. College football is crazy. All that time off and play the game on a Monday night. It’s a full blown circus. At least, we got Lane Kiffin talking trash on social media. Kiffin told his new QB you should spray tan. I got a guy. We can worry about that when you get on campus. I got you signed up for 6am Hot Pilates with the Kappa Deltas and Zetas. It’s to raise money but it raises more than that. What’s the over/under on how long it takes Kiffen to be involved in some sort of scandal at LSU. LSU and Lane Kiffen and their politicians will be the reason NIL and the transfer portal gets changed. Lane and his coaching staff are probably streaking across the Quad now celebrating their transfer portal haul. I can hear him now telling his Offensive Coordinator get your pale ass out of my way. You should have tanned. No one wants to see your pasty pale ass.
