Where's the guy who said UGA would end up in the Pop Tarts bowl next year?

We need a guy like Becker was for Indiana. A no-name who rises to the top. I'm as concerned about the O-line as the receivers, because we've got plenty of WR bodies next season…just gotta figure out who's potentially a playmaker, if any. And, of course, Stockton has got to improve his vertical pass game as well or we'll be spinning our wheels. Now we don't have plenty of experienced and great OL players, and those guys get injured every single season. So, we'll need replacements.

I don't think the Pop Tarts Bowl is in play, but I do know that if Gunner does not learn to stay in the pocket, and learns to step up in the pocket and make plays over the middle, and otherwise in the interior of the field, then post season play is up in the air. I do think that the defense will start out strong, unlike the last two seasons, and I actually like the idea of new blood in the WR corps. Bobo did run some two tight end sets, but not effectively like Monken used them. The bottom line is EVERYTHING on the offense needs improvement.

    Isn’t the thumbnail/header a picture of Taylor?

More innovative ways of running the ball instead of predominately up the middle wouldn’t hurt either.
Dawgs back in their hay days ran a variety of sweeps that were pretty effective. Just because something comes from the past doesn’t mean it’s not Still effective when executed right.

I’m not saying I’m totally against up the middle run plays. Just not in excess. Usually in excess gets you in trouble anyway. Other teams know exactly what we’re gonna do. And I’m not talking gadget plays. I’m talking realistic plays that Have had success.

Many times on the up the middle runs the RB runs into his own O Lineman which stalls his forward progress. Or worse trips over his teammates leg and falls. Yes I fully understand Why there Is a need for up the middle runs. Would just like to exchange Some of them for other types of runs where the RB has got forward momentum already in his favor headed up field.

The good ole toss sweep with a powerful RB is a thing of beauty when properly executed !! Go Dawgs !!

Watching the natty the other night it seems all teams do this..3rd and short and they throw a deep ball🤷‍♂️. Georgia was blessed that Landon caught that 4th and long TD pass again Tenn.
