    🤑🤑

    Money!

That entire defense is big MONEY! LB room is stellar. As we proved in 2021, defenses win Championships…can we repeat that formula in '26??

Good things ahead for the UGA D

9 of 11 positions manned by juniors and seniors barring injuries. Unfortunately that experience doesn’t translate to the 2 line. First level talent off the charts, depth not so much. I see why the portal emphasis was what it was. Sure wish we had picked up a little seasoning for the OLine too…

Looking forward the the competition at nose tackle….this will be Jordan Hall's break out year as he'll be pushed into eliteness by Xziver McLeod and Valdin Sone.

#44 Hall has not shown much injured or not, Sone is a bad man, may move up before it's over with. Everything else looks good, should be dominant from the get go in 2026 instead of 2/3 into the season. If Kirby can get the D back to the REAL standard, then he can play his preferred bully ball again. That will be more of what it will take to win another Natty in the current climate.

With a true lights out Defense which this one appears to be and Hopefully is. Twenty Seven points that’s 3 TDs and 2 FGs should be plenty sufficient to win most any game the Dawgs play. And of course some games considerably less than twenty seven points will suffice. Dawgs can do really, really well with a lights out defense as the past has shown. Go Dawgs !!

As good as this defense looks on paper, the one question that will decide if they’re a great defense - is can they pressure the QB up the middle? They didn’t do it this past year and no one returning has displayed the ability to get it done consistently. When the Dawgs’ defense was at its best in ‘21 and ‘22, they got after the QB up the middle and disrupted the run game with penetration up the middle. They did it with extraordinary talent at DT; Wyatt, Davis and Carter and great outside pass rushers. I haven’t seen that type of talent on this defense, maybe Griffith - who has shown flashes. I’m hopeful he can be the guy.
