Like it…"plan your work and work your plan".

The NIL has made things difficult, but Kirby is adapting about as well as anyone can.

    From the article as posted:

A former top-100 recruit who has yet to play up to his ranking

but needs development within the UGA offense.

No negatives on Barnes were listed

Go study the game stats on these guys. The were all fill-ins, not a play-maker. All are athletic as heck and maybe developed by Kirby to take a step up. My other concern is that of all the portal gets for the last two years, only one has been a game-changer and the rest either played very little or none at all. These guys are leaving their team for a reason and it is not money. Time will tell….

I believe that the tight ends will be used similar to what they were when Monken was in Athens. Kirby sees the talent in that room and will put an emphasis on this like the running game this past spring. If he can get the blocking out of that room that Monken did then the run game improves as well. I think the coaches are going to make Gunner stay in the pocket and make plays this time around. He will run but his second read being to take off is going to go away.

Some things will remain the same and some things will look a bit different in 2026 for Georgia, but theDawgs again will enter another season with high expectations. For more thoughtson the state of the program, click below to check out my latest Junkyard Blawg.

"“We’ve simplified things and made it easier,” Smart said, noting the importance of getting top talent on the field quicker."_______CKS

Well...there it is. When the Dawgs start dumbing things down to get guys on the field earlier...cause, they're leaving earlier. The "game" suffers...from the NFL all the way down to the midget leagues. Lol

Players are entering the NFL as "Unprepared Prima Donna's", with attitude. That's not good for the future of the game, at any level...imo.

There have been comments by multiple NFL veterans, calling out the lack of preparation and sense of "entitlement" rookies are bringing into the league.

This is also creating dissension and tension between Veterans and young players....many of whom, were/are making more from their College Contracts than some are making on their NFL Contracts.

Lol....it's gettin' real, now. NIL/TP is starting to get some of that negative attention, we discussed years ago. With the lawsuits and the inevitable erosion of college & professional football IQ and performance.

All of these factors....Should make it easier for the mediocre players and teams to shine. Who knew NIL was just another form of DEI. Lolol.

Xavier McLeod 2 deep DT likely starter. London Humphreys 2 deep likely starter. Josh Horton d-line expected in regular rotation & potential starter in 27. Zion Branch 2 deep likely rotation at safety. Colbie Young & Zechariah Branch both huge hits but CYoung had unfortunate events prevent from playing full two years.

Played season with 90% non-transfer roster last year. Believe number of game-changer hits are as good as others, just a smaller pool pulling from.

Not trying to be Captain Obvious, but CFB is broken. It’ll take a brush fire of great magnitude to burn out all the rot, but things will never be the same. I get the need to adapt, but I can also respect Kirby and Dani for their stances.

Amen Brother !! Until I see a real reason not to I’m gonna trust in Kirby. NIL and the TP have made an Already challenging game multiple times more difficult. Kirby and the Dawgs have just as much potential to win at top levels as any other team. And Even if they don’t I’ll Still love them and Still cheer for them.

As long as Kirby and staff don’t do anything illegal or in violation. of NCAA rules in other words Crooked. I’m staying the course with them. Been a Dawgs fan for far too long to jump ship now. Of Course I want them to win a Ntl. Title !! I have Every year. But that’s not realistic Especially now. So as long as they are giving their absolute best and are in the hunt speaking only for Me I can’t knock them.

I don’t know if it’s this year or the next or the next after that but I Honestly Believe with Kirby as HC the Dawgs Will win another Ntl. Title in the next few years. And with him they’ll win Another after that. But NO team including UGA will win Ntl. Titles Every year or even every other year. CFB dynasties are Gone !! Saban saw it coming and hit the door taking his legacy with him before anymore damage was done.

With DeBoer at the helm Bama is a for now slowly sinking ship. The longer he’s there the faster and more water they’ll take on to sink more rapidly !!
The Dawgs just came off a Very Good ( but not great ) season. Gunner as first year starter had a Very Good ( but not great) season. Now All I ask of Kirby and our Dawgs is to set the Ntl. Title as their goal and Strive with every fiber of their being to obtain it. Really that’s all they Can do. We’ll see how far they can go.

Yes there are question marks. Yes there are problems. But I think All teams face those coming into a new season. As Dawgs fans we have just as much reason to be optimistic as any other team. Go Dawgs !!

Hopefully, the next lawsuit brought by a university over a player transfer results in college football imploding and crumbling into a million pieces. That's my wish.
