Fingers crossed Oregon does not throw an obscene $ at him.
I used to feel good about commitments- now it’s like “we’ll see”-nil has completely changed things
Let's change "commitment" to "sentiment of the moment".
maybe it’s just me, but this hardly seems like a “commitment”. I don’t see how college coaches can deal with this crap!
from the article - “I would say, yeah, it is two schools at the top right now,” Wright said. “I would say they are tied. I wouldn’t pick between them right now.”
That’s Georgia and Oregon.
“Miami is up there, too,” he added. “I’m going to Miami soon.”
Once again, we are being "used" to max out on more NIL $$$ from other schools. No way either of these kids will stick with UGA on signing day. Know it's tough to discern if a kid is really into you or not, but by now UGA should recognize there is a trend with these elite players committing early to UGA.
I could not do it. I would not be dependent upon a kid for my living. Coaches had it good up until now, buti it is the wild wild west out there now. Who pays the most get the talent? It is not about school anymore even though, the kids know most NFL careers don't last that long. Most will blow the money earned in college and most don't have a long term plan, I just host the people running this clown show comes up with some kind of regulation before it is too late. I don't follow recruiting anymore. I will just wait until the season to start.
