    Well said, Navy.

There always have been complainers, the world is full of them. Too many of them, complainers focus on problems & negativity.

And then we have doers, but not nearly enough of them. Doers focus on solutions, responsibility & results no matter the situation.

It all has been that way since before time.

Nonetheless, I sure am glad we have Kirby, he’s a doer - we are lucky to have him.

Thank You !! Always like your comments !! YES we are indeed very blessed to have Kirby !! Very few coaches have accomplished as much as he has in the same amount of time. Going into his tenth season with Tons of shiny hardware in the showcase !! And his personality is such he’s not even close to satisfied or content.

I honestly think that Kirby losing his Dad had a Huge effect on him. He was doing his job but not with the same zeal and enthusiasm. But I think now he has made his way through the darkness of grieving. And Now he’s ready to pull out all stops and get back to the fiery Kirby Smart we know and love !!

When my Daddy died I Did my job. And I did it right. But for a long time I was living in a fog. My heart was utterly crushed. But then the sun ( The Son Jesus ) came shining through and I got back to living again.

I’m believing it’s gonna be the same for Kirby. He hasn’t Forgot how to win. He hasn’t Forgot how to be Elite. He WILL elevate UGA back to Full prominence !! Always like your comments !!

To Really enjoy the game it takes Faith in the HC over everyone else. Without you become a very depressed and anxious fan. The world at large throws enough of that at us as it is. So if I’ve got to be “worried” about our Dawgs I’d just have to quit watching them as under those circumstances they would be toxic. But they’re not so I’m gonna keep watching !!

Another Ntl. Title is just on the other side of the horizon. Kirby and the Dawgs are gonna go bring it home !! Go Dawgs !!

smart said get over the hump, everyone will point fingers at Bobo, but need Glenn to be better at calling the defense in big games…that will be the difference

First to all you "dawgs" ( Navydawg, Eastmandawg, and Reddawg ), thanks for interesting "conversation" which stayed "civil". You all made very relevant points. I am one who strongly leans towards the "team" concept that requires as much retention as possible, and therefore think that the path Kirby is choosing is the one most likely to produce better team performance. I know Indiana had a great number of transfers, but how many of them were from the same team ( JMU ), and had been under Cignetti's coaching. Even the ones ( from JMU ) who did not start were familiar enough with the "system" that they would be valuable in light duty rotations, but even more valuable in helping the "outside" transfers adapt to and understand the system Cignetti was using, both on offense and defense. I have long held that everyone who participates in practice must give their best in practice for the team to succeed ( and thus they are an important part of any victory by the team ), especially those who take part on the "scout" team. Simplification of the system will be important in the future to get folks ready to play in a shorter time frame, but I believe that they can also learn the more advanced concepts as they spend more time in Kirby's system. The coaches will have to be able to teach those concepts as they grow. If you just look at how quickly many of our former players have adjusted to the next level, there should be an incentive for the players to want to learn those more advanced concepts ( and thus be ready for the next level ).
