Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

On multiple levels, this kid seems too good to be true, especially in this day and age. Come be and do what you're saying, Mr. Spell…. and see if you can recruit some other dudes like you to build something special. Go Dawgs!
Georgia's first Heisman winner was from the Keystone State…. McKees Rock, PA. If Mr Spell is half as committed as that DGD, he'll be #3 and will earn it all with his legs and not have to throw a pass like Frank Sinkwich.
Not to be Debbie Downer, but we have heard this song and dance before. Texas or Bama will get desperate at the end and will put out an offer that will stun him. We will see if he is really committed at that point!
“I am committed committed.”
That sounds mighty good to this Dawg fan. He is certainly the real deal as a player. Hope he actually becomes a Dawg. It seems like he’s got his stuff together and understands what is really important.
Frazier ain't done churning out yards and points, just yet. Imo....he'll be in the Heisman conversation early and often in '26. Nate's gonna give Spell a clear path to follow.
"1 Year Stronger, Faster and Smarter"....means a helluva lot in CFB these days. And, I was already impressed with what Fraziergv was puttin' down every Saturday. Lol
I'm having visions of the ol' RBU of the '80's. Only, this time.…with a passing game. They always had a defense....'cept during the Martinez/Grantham years, that is.
UGA's had a pretty good string of Running Backs over the last 10-15 years....but, THIS year's stable could top em all, statistically...imo. Especially, when they have an "Emmitt Smith Clone", running the football. Lol
This year's gonna be fun. Especially, if they go ahead and have a Spring Scrimmage.
Go get em Spell. Lead the pack.
That very well "could" happen ml. Bit also might not like it hasn't far more tines than it has. As far as compared to previous situations Spell isbat least unique ib he is actially committed. He canceled his other ov. He even is clear about not being about money. None of that was the case with precious guys that we lost so it certainly is reason to be more optimistic. Just pointing it all out bc quite frankly you are being a Debbie downer and for no reason or at least its not needed. Everyone is aware of what has happened with a select number of guys. To say oh we will just lose then or something like that every timr we get a guy serves absolutely no purpose and adds no value or original thought. I get it. I'm not trying to come at you. I've been as doomer and angry with stuff in past as well. Still we gotta keep moving. Realize that we still sign guys every year that the worst doesnt happen. You dont have to put head in sand and be in denial of what could go wrong, but there just is no good reason to always go there and that be the recurring theme. Its okay to have a positive outlook or at least neutral at the very least where not bringing all that negative energy.
His build reminds me of Zemir White.
Media treatment of this guy like a rock star is not helpful. He's an elite HS football player who has committed to UGA long before signing day. Committing doesn't mean much today in the age where your word is no longer your bond. Ghetto rules apply. Let's see if Mr Spell actually keeps his word and signs with UGA. Then let's see if he actually lives up to his star ratings. Then if he does, we will all get on the Love Train…. OK?
I much prefer "committed committed" to the "sentiment of the moment" so many early commitments best evoke.
Ghetto rules??
I'm going with what the young man stated. I look forward to seeing him on the field as a Dawg. Take care of yourself this upcoming season. Work hard and build your stamina and heat tolerance. I look forward to seeing as a Cowboy one day!
Dude, could you be more tone deaf?!
Knew Trippi was from Pennsylvania. Didn't realize Sinkwich as well. Wow! That would make Spell the 5th great RB Dawg from Pennsylvania - 1. Frank Sinkwich, 2. Charley Trippi 3 Musa Smith 4. D'andre Swift & 5. Kemon Spell!
Welcome young man and am sure you will make God, Your family and Dawg Nation Proud.
Hmmm, I actually found this quite offensive. I don't usually call things out to the negative side, but I think most understand what I'm referring to.
That said, what a spec-frikkin'-tacular commit! Could it turn out he doesn't show up in this topsy-turvy CFB world? Well, yeah. But I'd prefer to take him at his word and honor a high-schooler who can carry himself this way... I think it's mighty impressive.
If it turns out otherwise, such is life. I'll be disappointed, but as long as he doesn't pull a reprehensible Curtis-like move (seriously, night before?), then I think it's good and proper to take a young man at his word when he's clearly making the effort and (so far) doing all the right things.
Can't wait for the season to start!
