Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Here's what I thought he meant...going by my longevity with the English language and slang from the 70's and 80's....
"Ghetto Rules"....anything goes....whatever it takes to win...no rules outside of street rules, which is no rules at all....survival of the fittest.
Now, i don't think that applies to the quality of character that Kirby 'n Co. are trying to bring to Athens.
And, it definitely doesn't apply to this kid. Some people still have a code. A set of ethics and standards. I believe future All American Spell...is one of em.
God Bless the Georgia Bulldogs....and the entire Dawg Pound. Baseball, Football, Basketball, Gymnastics, Softball.…..Curling???.....Elite Athletes with a good head on their shoulders.
Now....CFB as a whole, is currently operating under "Ghetto Rules"....Lol...or, No Rules at All.
Go Get em Big Red!
Don’t let beachwgn get under your skin, everyone knows she’s a troll, probably a jealous Gator football fan, just look at her comments…definitely not a pup fan…
@RomeDawg288..Musa Smith.. that name is a blast from the past! Had completely forgot about Musa until I saw your comment. Him and Quayvon Hicks were 2 really good college FB's, back when offenses used Fullbacks on a regular basis. I always loved the unusual facemask on Quayvon's helmet..GoDAWGS!
To each their own.
I am pumped about this young man.
If he changes his mind? That will be ok too. Because UGA will be ok regardless.
But if he does follow through he could be a SERIOUS difference maker with a good OL.
Again,, I AM PUMPED…
You know....I had all but, forgotten about UGA's masterful use of the Fullback. Especially, out of the "I".
I would love to see more of it. A buddy of mine, Chris McCarthy, converted from tailback to fullback out of a HS wishbone backfield. He led the way for Herschel .…but, could run the ball as well as any back. I think, he might've been the first of many.
Come on back to the "Power I", Kirby. As Delmer said, in "O Brother, Where Art Thou"...."Come on in boys….the water's fine. It'll wash away all your Defensive Woes". Or something to that effect. Lol
For the record....I don't like "3 yards and a cloud of dust". I always thought that was the dumbest statement ever made. Lol...if you do that…you'll be punting every 3 downs of offense. How bout, "3½ yards and a cloud of dust."?
Go get em Spell. Make em talk about you like this, in 40 years.
Wow! Another 1 i had forgotten about. I remember Chris from his days at UGA, and even before then when he was a Benedictine Cadet. And you are correct, he could've been a starting Tailback at several D1 schools. He just happened to be at UGA when the greatest RB of all time played. No doubt that Chris helped Herschels career stats being his lead blocker.
