Nothing sez commitment like being a one man recruiting machine….If Mr Spell can pull off this "Keystone State Connection" The Dawgs will see a return to the GLORY DAYS of Trippi and Sinkwich????

Maybe he wants scholarships for his buddies instead of cash? It wouldn't be the first time-Luke Bennett and Zion Branch are still on the team.

Georgia has also reportedly hired a new OLB coach, a former DB as a defensive analyst and rumors are swirling that Robert Edwards will join Kirby’s staff in some capacity.

I didn’t read any of this on Dawg Nation. BA might have mentioned one of those on his podcast, but I don’t get to listen to it as much as I would like.

Larry Knight will be the new OLB coach..Phil Rauscher will take over as OL coach, Stacey Searles moves to an analyst position per the article I read. Also, Maurice Smith, former DB at UGA, was hired as a defensive analyst.

This is some serious leadership from a young man at such an early stage in his career. The past few years (esp. during the pre-Miami Carson period) there's been some really legit questioning of "on field leadership" (no longer the case at QB with Gunner, obviously) by DN posters and the fan base more broadly. I sense that may change once Kemon takes the field as a starter… what an opportunity for next level performance

Kirby has clearly turned the dial to "11" (you're welcome, any This Is Spinal Tap fans out there) when it comes to focusing on leadership characteristics in his recruits, and probably why he was so particular with TP transfers also.

I realize it's not a guarantee that Spell will indeed show up, but for now I'll take him at his word and appreciate the "inbound community" he's building for the Dawgs. If it happens, watch out CFB 🤠
