Two Georgia football players arrested on reckless driving charges
Georgia linebackers Chris Cole and Darren Ikinnagbon were both arrested and charged with reckless driving, a misdemeanor on Wednesday, according to the Athens-Clarke County arrest log.

The most interesting and perhaps informative information in this report is that it seems Athens -Clarke County uses multiples of 13 for its bonding rules.
Good grief! Will these players never learn? Evidently not.
DN will report this but nothing about the Lady Dawgs upsetting #5 Vandy or the men’s team beating Kentucky at rupp for the first time since 2009.

A college student getting a traffic ticket isn’t news to me. Basically every person commenting on this site has gotten more than one of those. Plus, the facts are not even known. The puzzling part is the so-called arrests. Why do law officers in Clark County arrest someone for a traffic offense? Makes no sense. Give ‘em the ticket and they can simply pay the fine or appear in court to contest the charges. But the bottom line imo is this isn’t news worthy.

Unless I read incorrectly the bail was a low amount and that was not the fine portion. I guess we are doomed to be subjected to this every year. Young men making unwise decisions. Happens everywhere.
How fast were they driving, all it says is they were driving over the speed limit, and in what way were they being wreak less in there driving, a lot of info left out, I see people ever day driving over the speed limit and speeding in and out of traffic, in fact I would like to know which of you that doesn't drive over the speed limit, my niece got pulled over for speeding, and then the officer, says he's going to let her go with a ticket for driving too fast for the conditions, it had been raining, they later drop the charge, because the office couldn't prove she was driving too fast for the conditions, they were hoping she would just pay the ticket, which was more than it cost for a speeding ticket, some of these officers have a power ego, hope this isn't the case.
