Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Will Cyril have to sit out the next game?
Cyril got railroaded. He didn't purposely hit the guy with his elbow—He was facing away from the Ole Miss player, positioning himself to get a rebound. He didn't even know the guy was there. This call plus the two missed goal tending calls sealed our fate.
The old me would have lambasted Coach White’s mediocrity results but let me tell you, very very impressive how his team responded after such a slow start and some pretty s h itty officiating. They never quit, held their heads up and kept on chopping. Horrific officiating, that crew of refs should be railroaded out of the profession. They obviously had wagers thru draft kings on Ole Miss. As for the UGa team, great effort and best of luck at the big dance. A competitive program is finally upon us, dawg fans!
Oh…and to Olivia Sayer, the intern that authored this article, if it wasn’t simply a cut paste job, your grammar and sentence structure skills should be shared with Connor. At the very least perhaps you can edit his work before he posts it. Thanks for a basketball article, Olivia. Cheers mate…
For reasons unknown the Dogs play terribly at Bridgestone Arena. It's time to move the tournament around. There are Pro arenas in Memphis, Miami, New Orleans, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta. I hope there is some disciplinary action against those incompetent refs.
"The Bulldogs . . . suffered a loss in their first game of the SEC tournament for the fifth time in the last six seasons . . . ."
That says it all about a school that's not fully committed to its men's basketball program. Hopefully—in any event—DawgNation won't abandon its coverage of the team again like it did for a chunk of games this winter.

"It did not help Georgia that starting center Somto Cyril was ejected in the second half . . . ."
Dawgs actually played better in this one upon Cyril's departure.
flipside: "Will Cyril have to sit out the next game?"
Wondering about that myself. Hopefully someone will post an answer to your question.
At least we finally got an article about the men’s basketball team. It’s been a really good year considering it’s Georgia basketball, but for the basketball articles to completely disappear on Dawg Nation and only be put on the pay to read AJC sports section is completely pointless and a blatant attempt to get people like us to subscribe.
Mike White should give the SEC officials office a huge ear full about the shotty, pathetic officiating in that game last night. From Cyril getting unfairly ejected to the blatant missed goal tending calls that cost Georgia a minimum of 4 points which was the difference in the game, the zebras were pathetic.
It was a nice year but CMW seems to have a habit of bowing out early (SECT or Ncaa). One of the worst teams, based on record, beat CMW twice! I'm not sold on him…..

And the pain of those inevitable early exits is only exacerbated by the fact that he's a gator reject. And that in turn is exacerbated by the fact that the gators since letting him go have become one of the nation's very best teams.
I'll never understand turning the reins of the men's basketball program over to the mediocre head coach of our longtime most hated and bitter rival. NEVER.
Makes me wanna puke.
Hopefully that was the egg lay that they can avoid as they move forward.
I think Coach white gave me a vote down LOL. Dawgnole reminded me he was @ UF😶. Hey it's improvement, but I just don't think he's the guy to get them to the 'next' level (ya know….advance a few rounds haha)
Ole Miss got hot at the right time and has won three upsets in three days. Figures.
