This guy sounds like a KS-type player. We all know KS is a little harder on the safety position. Javon Bullard was the prototype for that position, with great cover skills and he would lay the wood. I hope Mr. Fort has much success at UGA.

Well, super cool! Bring it on and look forward to keeping track of him. Loved Dan Jackson and if he has his toughness he will be an All-American soon.

    ”The term “committed” wasn’t a modern-day engagement or a promise ring-level vow”

Hey wait a minute sentell, you borrowing my material or what?

“They should change use of the word committed to pre-engaged” Said it here first, just sayin…

Great article Jeff. Just reading it gets me fired up for this young man. His thoughts about commitment and sticking to your word really hit home for me. I'm betting he'll be a favourite in years to come. GO DAWGS

I for one would rather see a great defensive play than a great offensive one and it sounds like this year’s team has the potential to display a bunch of them. If the coaches can find that disruptive pass rusher this defensive team might be special. Having a senior moment and can’t remember his name but would love to see another safety like the one that we had that went on to be a linebacker in the NFL think for Charlotte. He would literally blow up opposing ball carriers. He was residing in a bunch of opponents heads. GO DAWGS!

Nice article about a great young man! With that attitude, i can see why he was a team captain in HS for 4 years..as JBMDawg46 posted earlier. My take from the article is that Fort is a natural leader. I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if he is also selected as a team Captain during his time in Athens..GoDAWGS!
