I wonder if team managers and/or the CEO of NFL teams ever ask current Especially recent players. Who are the best players still in college that you played With or Against ?

Of course management doesn’t have to follow the players advice but it seems to me a wealth of info. could be gained. For example when Bowers & McConkey were drafted what Defender did they Most respect going up against ? Course I realize the two are on different teams.

I think if I owned a team and drafted a superstar in the 2026 draft I’d ask him that question of the players left in college one to even two years behind him. Now naturally there would be a tendency to want to help a college team buddy get drafted. So Id be sure to make the question two fold not just who you played With but Against.

Then I’d ask Which of the two were better ? And of course remind him that Hey your vouching for this guy, your putting Your name on him that’s he’s real good !! Falcons miss out on So much great talent !! I don’t watch the NFL but what little bit I have watched is the Philly Eagles because they have so many former Dawgs !!
