If that doesn’t show that Mediocre Mike isn’t a good coach, I don’t know what will. That was pathetic, disgusting, embarrassing, they’re aren’t enough bad adjectives to describe that debacle last night. It looks like just being invited is enough for him because he hasn’t had his team ready these two invites. At least the Gonzaga blow out last year was acceptable because they were much better and under seeded. They looked like a 16 seed last night. Reasons like that are why we have a reject coach from our biggest rival. Fire Mike White. He won’t be able to keep any player from this team. I’m sure Dominique is purely disgusted that his son had to endure that.

I had a function that I had to attend last night but made a special effort to get home right before tip-off to watch the game. Was able to stomach around half of the first half’s pathetic performance before bailing and going to bed. What an embarrassing display. A team that has no idea how to or at least desire to play any defense. An offense with no plays just dribble down the court maybe one pass and brick a 3. It’s almost beyond belief that a team could perform so miserably in it’s biggest game of the year but we certainly had hints that this could be coming all season, long stretches in several games where the Dawgs were absolutely boat-raced. I’ve got no idea how to fix this or even if it can be fixed but how can a team look so unprepared and so lethargic in their 30th something game of the season. I’m guessing that “ the buck stops here” might be appropriate in this instance. Maybe the women’s team can win A GAME. Go Dawgs.

Regarding David1’s post, I do not see any potential for worrying about any of these current players leaving. There are CERTAINLY no NBA ready players so that’s not a problem. I can’t imagine any Power 4 team wanting any of these players so that’s not a problem. Hate to say it but their staying might be a bigger problem. There was certainly no Team playing basketball last night, just various combinations of 5 guys playing street basketball. Sad ending.
