College sports have become an absolute joke.

Two things. First, Mike needs to have people combing the country to find the talent to play. Second, Time for facility upgrade at the colosseum. We need the premier building. Time to do it now. And yes, Dare is right.

It was obvious he was going in the portal when he trashed the team after the St. Louis game. Also all season, he typically had the ball in his too much.

Georgia had some talented players that didn't make a good team. Wilkinson was a prime example. Skilled. Played hard. More effective in a 1-on-1 or even 3-on-3 tournament. Dito on Cyril, who also just needs to toughen up. I'm pretty excited about the upside of Catchings and Wilkins… hope we can keep them, then get skilled players to play team ball… end-to-end, 40 full minutes. Go Dawgs!

The college football and basketball money pot keeps getting bigger every year. Remember when 2 years ago everyone was astonished that the Buckeyes spent $20M on their National Championship football roster?

Well, that figure is now up to $40-45M in just 2 short seasons. That's well above the revenue sharing amounts schools supposedly had to spend. Both Georgia sports teams will have to keep increasing the pot if they want to remain competitive. Unfortunately, Mike has got a much steeper hill to climb to really become a competitive team instead of floundering every season as a mid-tier SEC team.

The reason we don’t have depth? Lack of $$. The reason Tennessee went further in March Madness? Their men’s basketball budget is nearly triple UGA’s. Coincidentally, our BB budget is DFL in the SEC, at $10M. Tennessee’s BB budget is $28M. What could White do with $18M extra? Get better assistants, and better players

I’d say first step in winning at UGA regardless of sport is build a fence around the state. Regardless of cost. It pains me to see the team in Atlanta ripping so well in baseball. But most of that roster is ga boys.

Giving Mike Price a big million dollar raise because he turned in three weeks of NCAA basketball wins was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen come out of Athens. It was so dumb, in fact, that it should lead in firing both Morehead and Brooks. Beyond ****…. Inconceivable…

We haven't had a decent basketball team since the days of Hugh Durham and Tubby Smith. Might be time to just put a pencil line through UGA mens basketball. It's too hard for UGA's senior leadership and they are not willing to pay enough to hire quality coaches or keep good players. Stegeman Coliseum is the least of our worries. Mike Price was a Dollar Store purchase of a failed coach that our rival Florida had been plotting to fire. Florida probably paid UGA to hire him.

Wait, was this article supposed to be about the basketball program or the football program?

I'll always pull for Georgia basketball, but my expectations are the lowest they've ever been.

You do know his name is White, not Price, right? I think you're probably doing a play on words, but just wondering.

    Maybe Coach White will transfer.

Roy Kramer was 100% correct with his statement about football being the big money maker for the athletic programs. Football is the horse that pulls the loaded wagon..
