Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

ATHENS â Georgia defensive tackle Elijah Griffin and Sabrina Carpenter could not be more different. The latter is an internationally known pop star who regularly makes note of her lack of height.

Kirby nailed it… "destructive attitude". Obviously the best D players have an elite skill set and unbridled motor. They need to develop/learn effective techniques and tricks of the trade. And they have high football IQ that enables them to make fast, correct decisions. But they also have a mindset that they WON'T be blocked, and they WILL rip the other guy a new one. Go Dawgs!
“The one trait that I think I’ve always found in defensive linemen, and I tell the players this, is are you hard to block? And people that are hard to block, number one, they usually make a lot of money, but number two, they also cause a lot of disruption. So he’s growing into that,” Smart said.
As he reaches the point where he must be double-teamed to be stopped, that is when we will see the Line Backers' production shoot through the roof. The disruption that he is capable of will come from a different source as he is occupying blockers, and frustration will destroy the confidence of the opposition as they try to find a way to move the ball. Yes, he will be hard to block and he will add incredible value to one of the nation's best defenses.
GO DAWGS!
“He’s very quick for his size, and just being unblockable is what we’d like to see, and playing with a high motor and a destructive attitude.”
Sounds like someone else we know…Jalen Carter.
Looking forward to some destruction…
