Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You know until you get either of these new guys in an actual game situation against an SEC or Power 4 opponent, we're never truly going to know how good they actually are. Experience and playing time can take a guy from good to great or can expose them as overrated (too many of these guys to count). Good hearing that they are progressing, but scrimmages and practices can only do so much. Manning was a completely different QB by the end of last season, and Gunner has improved as well. Others like DJ Lagway have proven to be overhyped, and I still don't think Marcell Reed is as good as advertised against the better competition.
Right now we have too many quarterbacks, which is a good thing, and only one spot. Bad thing after the season, we lose Gunner, and we lose one of the Ryan’s, we lose Millender, and hope one of the Ryan’s won’t need a developed backup yet…
but that’s future UGA’s problems, let’s just win one this season and worry about that in the future….
