Personally, you can argue about this SEC conference strength all day, but the fact of the matter is the B1G has won the last (3) National Championships decisively. You can't whine about injuries and key players out when we lose a lot of guys to hard practices - not games. Every team has injuries. Sure, the SEC might be a stronger conference overall, but they are not proving it on the field and in the playoffs. Heck, the SEC performed lousy in non-CFP bowl games too. Sankey had no choice but to move to (9) conference games in order to have a place of negotiation. We're going to 16 or 24 teams in the playoffs, that's for certain. And the SECCG is probably going away.

Lane is wasting his breath. Win the games and stop your complaining. The results speak for themselves.

All the talk is nothing but BS regarding making SEC schools more ready for the playoffs. It's about money, period. The entire college football environment has sold out.

Won't debate the decision as that is futile however I will say that a stronger schedule certainly points out teh need for depth. and a little luck on experiencing fewer injuries

Of course ND has the best odds. They have a stipulation no other power 4 team has, and they play the weakest schedule of just about any team in the country.

These odds prove Greg Sankey got played by the Big Ten. ESPN’s analytics proved that a SEC 8-game schedule was more difficult than a 9-game Big Ten one. The 2025 SEC Champs only went 8-2 in SEC play - that should give everybody an idea of what’s coming.

BS ND got their way by throwing a temper tantrum. Also believe it’s time for Sankey to go.
