Love the creative change of using our talent to its fullest potential. Now you can expand to throwing to the actual tight ends!

That Beaver QB was pretty exciting. Hezekiah M looked very good as well. Beaver looked better than 2 or 3. The backups better watch out.

I agree. Beaver looked like he had more polish and pocket awareness than the other back up QB's. He seemed to look in rhythm more so than the others.

Milander has a real funky throwing motion. IDK how well that is gonna play on medium and long throws. But he seems like the best athlete in the QB room. Puglisi didn't show the accuracy or command of the O expected. Montgomery's arm strength seemed lacking.

Ginn also looked like he is progressing as a QB. All the QB's should continue to improve with practice. Makes me wonder how much GS will be allowed to run this fall.

As for Prothro he is a future TE. He is not a WR. The slot is perfect for him year 1 (and beyond as necessary/desired). In the slot his receiving skills will be utilized w/o having to perform in line blocking against DE's.

I honestly don't know how you truly evaluate QB's without real game experience and the threat of being sacked . Having watched the highlights on the Film Guy channel, they all had some things they did nicely and things they could of should of done better. And to listen to Austin even Puglisi shouldn't be judged as harshly as he's being judged, and he listed the reasons why.

I can't get away from Monken admitting "I tried my best not to play Stetson Bennett."- He even told SB, you'll never start at UGA. THen we started D"Wan Mathis over SB. WHy? He looked the best in practice , I presume.

Kaiden Prothro is a big target. At  6-foot-6 and 230 pounds he's going to be a handful for any LB or DB. He's a physical mismatch who played receiver as well in HS. I see him as a Calvin Johnson type (Height 6′ 5″, Weight 236 lbs) with great catch radius. Line him up outside. He's been compared to a hybrid of Brock Bowers and George Pickens already. This guy is going to drive defensive coordinators crazy.

I don't see how you keep KP out of the lineup. Reminds meof Drake London, only bigger!

In that touchdown from Beaver to Prothro, Prothro looked to me as being aligned in a tight X position, not a slot position.

I like the "Drake London only bigger" description. But fingers are crossed it's closer to Megatron.

Prothro will be a Beast for UGA. And I believe early on at that. I might misspell this next guy’s name so please forgive me. But the true freshman Folger ? Had one play in particular where he went up between two defenders and just high pointed the ball perfectly. For me it was one of those Ooh Aah moments !!

RB Dowdel looks really good !!
On the other side of the ball Tyrique Green is gonna be a star player some day and I think Sooner than later.

I was very impressed with Millender and Beaver !!
It being G Day I’m trying hard to temper my emotions but For Me I see Tons of potential for this Dawgs team !! I Believe the Dawgs Defense are gonna be down right Nasty !! I want them to strike fear in the hearts of opponents like Dawgs Defenses in the best times of the past !! Let the spirit of Erk Russell live among them !! Go Dawgs !!
