Honestly, to say there's a defensive depth chart at Georgia is a little misleading. 1, 2 and usually 3 will play. 2 might beat out 1 for the start based on practice. It's more about how many snaps someone gets. It's not my intent to devalue your article, but Kirby has a different perspective than most coaches. Your article provides value in that those would appear to be the top three in that order.

The defense will be stout out of the gate, much like the 2021 and 2022 defenses. 2023 defense was not bad, but offense was on fire that year, so it was taken for granted a little bit. You have got to know that the last two years that Kirby was not happy with it. He will be this year I believe.

Lots of Jr/sr leadership on the field this year, looking for big things from this defensive unit! Go dawgs

Yall I know we won’t Truly know what we have until we face a good team. But in this way to early view I Believe all in all we have a very good team across the board.

Sure there are question marks, areas where we look sort of thin etc. But if KS and staff will continue to push them and the players continue to buy in, I Believe this very good team can be refined to be a Great team.

If anyone sees the injury bug please step on him and mash that sucker !! Go Dawgs !! National Title 26/27 !!

Believing Chris Cole may be outstanding. He’s a big and fast player. Wanting to see him dominate.

Based on what we have been hearing here this spring and what has been written above by CR, it appears that Chase Linton is making an impression and moving up the depth chart. Unfortunately that may be coming at the expense of another high ranked prospect. Isaiah Gibson seems to be moving the wrong way on the depth chart. Hopefully we are not seeing another Marvin Jones Jr trajectory from a 5* recruit at the OLB position.
