Georgia baseball comes back from 7-0 deficit to win super regional game 1
In Game 1 of a best-of-three super regional series, Georgia hit five home runs to take down No. 14 national seed Mississippi State 13-12 at Foley Field Saturday.

What a game!! Was on the edge of my seat the last few innings. As I posted earlier, I'll never give up on the Diamond DAWGS, and this is the reason..they never give up, even down by 7 runs with not many outs left. O'Shaughnessy showed today that he could play for any D1 school in the country. Phelps backup, yet still managed 20 HR this year.
While we don't know how this will all end, this is a very special baseball team! Resilient and the masters of overcoming adversity. You have brought many of us Dawg fans into or back into baseball and it's been great to watch!
Let’s hope MSU dogs are still in shock tomorrow and we send them back home.

What a great game. So proud of this team and the grit they continue to show. The other Bulldogs deserve credit too-they're a very good team. Let's hope we lock it up on Sunday—maybe we won't have so many bizarre things happen to us like the dropped ball in left field, the ball that hit first base and skyed, the unusual throwing errors, and our poor pitcher who got drilled by that line drive. GO DAWGS
Georgia had a very tough draw in this super regional and showed their mettle for sure. What a game! Hope the pitching can clean up a little. Runs will keep getting tougher. Well, they are supposed to anyway! That offense is something else for sure. Go DAWGS.

I was so dejected when it was 7-0. I left watching it and went to do some volunteer work with my group. Came back in the 7th and was floored at the score. Color me a bad fan, but so proud of the guys to come back. One more to go!!!
Can UGA the top ranked team in the super regional get by Miss St who were probably the 3rd best team and advance to Omaha to face the 2nd best team Texas. If this isn't working out the way the NCAA wishes they're going to bring in the Dodgers and Ohani to try and knock us out.
If we get by Miss State today for a 6-0 record against one of the better teams remaining then I like our chances. I like our chances even if it goes to a game three. This is a Miss State team that outside of UNC and Texas would be in the World Series in any other super regional. It’s gonna be hard for them to bounce back today after what felt like their best effort. Didn’t think that game was ever gonna end. I am at HHI and watching the Dawgs go up 8-7 or 9-7 and I gotta go to the beach. I already spent two hours that morning setting up the tent bc the day prior two Karen’s told me my tent took up too much room on the beach. Extremely high level of frustration as I am digging 8 knee deep holes to bury the tent sand sacks in the beach and then asked to move the tent over. So Saturday, I staked claim to the beach early in the morning to avoid that. Me and my son are trying to get in a boogie boarding session while the other three are at the pool, but this game won’t end. Sitting out on the beach watching the last couple of innings then start worrying is my phone gonna die and then I am not gonna be able to listen to music. These are great worries for the week. Great game by the Dawgs!!!!
Similar to RedUga4ever, I stepped away to do yard work. Luck seems to change when I turn away LOL. Yard work, walk the bully, go to the store etc. So as a fan, if they do poorly early….I'll save the team and turn it off for a bit 👍️
Following up on my earlier post. There’s been no Lane “Looks Maxxing” Kiffen sightings at HHI. I know he likes to take full advantage of any opportunity he gets to show off his sweaty Pilates body and be bare chested with his state of the art spray tan prancing around in his bengal striped Pilates pants hitting on moms and daughters. Figured he be at the Tiki Hut running a game of volleyball.
