Couldn’t agree more with the majority of the comments on here. For these guys to get extended into ‘28 without seeing their work this coming season is dubious at best. This is a pivotal season for the Dawgs and I think these two have as much to prove as anyone. I have serious doubts that we’ll ever get the offense to reach its full potential under this leadership. It’s been a cruel irony for long-suffering Dawg fans that after we finally reached the mountain top a few years ago with an innovative OC that we decided to go back into our under-achieving past to find his successor. The result has been three years of maddening frustration with the offense, especially the play calling. Years from now we’ll look back on what a run this could’ve been if we’d had more dynamic leadership on the offensive side of the ball. Hard to accept!

Let's say Smart just has average seasons through 2028 and bolts like Beach wants because the team he really pulls for can't beat Georgia. Let's factor in just average. That puts Smart around 150 wins and 30 loses before he leaves with 2 National Championships.
@CoachL - Well said CoachL! The play calling is enough to drive one to total insanity. At times, the play calling is amazingly good. Then we get a lead and it becomes agonizingly conservative. Last season’s playoff game against Ole Miss is exhibit A.
Pretty sure no other school is after Bobo, especially after his time at Colorado State. No need to extent his contract.
