For all the offseason discourse about Zachariah Branch at Georgia, it’s hard to argue how critical he was to the Bulldogs last season.

”It would be a shock if a player received a steady diet of screen passes Branch did last season.”

That would not come as any shock to me at all if we see the same play run over and over again. Go Dawgs!

Humphrey and Luckie will be the easy button. One of those 2. I also like Chauncey out of the backfield as a 3rd option.

If our bread & butter pass play is a wide receiver screen (that fails many times), it's no wonder why Georgia isn't the place most elite WRs choose to go…can Gunner and this WR group change that narrative? God, I hope so.

As far as our talented TE room, we've beat this horse into the ground. Everybody sees the obvious except maybe Bobo, because he sure turned a blind eye to that strength last season. Yet, our biggest offensive production (points & yards) of the entire season came on October18th when (9) passes were caught by our TEs for almost 100 yards.

If he doesn't see it this season then I hope it's his last.

"We should also take note of the tight end position for Georgia this fall. In terms of on-paper talent, this group might be the deepest position in the entire sport. "

Exactly! The "easy button" could be one or more of these TE's in the right situation. Elyiss Williams and Kaiden Prothro will be matchup nightmares, especially if it's a LB trying to cover them. When the opposing DC is forced to make adjustments because the TE's are making 8- or 10-yard receptions at-will, it will open up opportunities for Canion, Taylor, White, or Humphries.

    GO DAWGS!

Availability of TE's to catch the ball will depend, a great deal, on the ability of the OL to sustain blocks (with a little help from the RB's)…a QB must have time or, like it or not, you're going to see screen passes

@jamboogie great point! Identifying the "easy button" for that particular game in the first quarter instead of the fourth quarter would be a difference maker as well.

I agree with jamboogie, I believe it'll change most every game depending on the defensive schemes opponents use against UGA's offense.

No one becomes an easy or explosive option if the OL doesn't gel, develop a mean streak, and stay healthy. If that happens, there's no reason with all the skills we have in runners and catchers there wouldn't be multiple dangerous options to keep opponents on their heels and scrambling to keep up. Go Dawgs!

Great point or gashes off tackle for 20 yards a pop, and then the DCs are really screwed. Put your LB's in the box, and we'll kill you with our TE's, adjust, and we'll gash you for 10, 20, 30-yard gashes. Would **** to be a DC in that instance.

QUESTION : Who is the "easy button" for the Dawgs in '26?

EASY ANSWER : The BYE Week.

😅.....just sayin'.. Take NOTHING for granted. Especially, in the "Free Agency Era" of CFB.
