ATHENS — Running the football is a core standard at Georgia.

Hunter—All very good points—can't overlook the running game if you want to win football games.
We miss that elite talent that is a game-changer. The five star we have a chance with next year, may be the answer, but that is next year. Let's hope someone has a breakout year this year!!
Nate Frazier is gonna look completely different this year. A healthy Bowens and we got some RBs just waiting.
Speaking of RBs I think Tennessee found their next Jamal Lewis. They got a rb out of the CFL and got him playing high school football for Baylor Highschool. Buford and Baylor scrimmaged last night. Hard to tell who would have won. Scrimmages. It’s one the whole time your watching your thinking this would have been a great matchup. Don’t know if Baylor could have kept up with Buford for 4 quarters also don’t know if Buford could have stopped that RB. It was a game that both coaching staffs can absolutely chew out the whole team which always happens with scrimmages. Never act like you did something great after a scrimmage game. The coaches are sitting on a lit fuse. “Doesn’t happen in a real game”. “Good thing the refs saved our QB” “that Qb probably runs you over in a real game thank God the ref gave you a sac”. “Thank the Lord the refs thinks you would have made that sac.” Football almost back.
Haynes King is a freaking football player. Glad he exhausted is eligibility and I know why the Tech O.C. left. King is gonna make someone’s roster. I think he makes the Panthers.
“But it starts up front at the line of scrimmage”
Amen! Looking for improved run blocking with a new OL coach.
Our running game will only be more effective if Gunner to our WRs step up. If we can’t loosen up the box with more mid range passes then it won’t matter how much better our Oline improves, 6 on 8 are never good numbers.
The emergence of Peanut will help the cause, and I also want to see more of Jae Lamar. The kid has serious speed and has decent size. They will have to get the run game back to over 200 a game against all competition to get the kind of uptick in the play action that Bobo wants to achieve.
I think that we were decent on converting 4th downs but then again I would prefer that we decrease the amount of those events.. As far as running game; it needs some help from the OL and passing game to develop into a juggernaut.
Can't try to sneak Cash Jones out of the backfield on 4th down in crucial situation and you can't send our biggest slowest back wide left outside the tackle. Can't do **** stuff in the big moments.
Could this be the year for Nate Frazier ? I sure hope so, he’s a veteran player, he has the skill set. Bowens seems to be a pound the defensive front type of guy. There’s certainly a place for him.
I hope that Dwight “Peanut” Phillips can take on a James Cook like role. I’m not saying he will be as good as Cook this soon. But if he can get some what in that measure he will be very valuable.
Hope Bo Walker can ramp up his game. Hope Lamar can be very good right out of the box. All these things Yall already know. And Yall know that a huge part of it rests on the O Line whether running or passing the ball. If the O Line can be Truly elite then our Dawgs will win allot of games and go very far toward their goals.
Every team in CFB has question marks. But until they show me a reason why I shouldn’t I’m Believing our Dawgs can win the National Title potential wise as much as any team.
Oh Contraire Sir, I predict quite the opposite…..it will be the quick pounding run game that will require defences to bring in the secondary leaving our receivers in man coverage at best….our TE's will run over the coverage, our WR's will run past the coverage and Kaiden Prothro will do both.
