"the group didn’t exactly produce as an elite unit last season"

Perhaps that is because you never threw to the Tight Ends. They didn't get worse. They just didn't get used. And that is Bobo or Stockton's fault. If your name wasn't Branch, you didn't get the looks.

Watching film and talking about scrambling and keeping your eyes downfield. Sounds like something they should have been discussing a couple of years ago.

    They are not ready.

I think our Dawgs do have a great defense. Time will tell if my opinion is accurate. But the Dawgs defense will make or hopefully will make the Dawgs O better. Iron sharpening iron.

I’m Believing in these 2026 Dawgs. The whole program. I love the idea of aggressive play on both sides of the ball. Now take that ideology and transform it into Reality. There Will be some growing pains. GS might throw more INTs this year, and maybe some of those as pick 6s. But that’s the price of aggressive play, so if the end result is W’s. I doubt many realistic Dawgs fans will complain much about increased INTs as long as TDs and W’s increase greater than those INTs.

Gunner worried a bit too much about the possibility of an INT last year. Well last year is gone. Get out there and Attack the rival defense. No not utterly **** throws but Aggressive go for the throat throws. I’m confident both CMB and GS know the difference. I believe we have the weapons on both sides of the ball so Attack !! Go Dawgs !!

I like Mike. Fear the stash! I hope Kirby doesn’t hold him back this season. We saw what the offense could do vs OM. Turn it loose boys. With the defensive talent we have 34 points should win every game. But unfortunately, Shu didn’t adjust and that didn’t happen. Let’s go for 40 this year.

I feel this team can accomplish anything they set their mind to.

Well said, AND, to be the best Gunner Stockton means to live on the edge, to extend plays searching for a receiver or running lane/crack and **** the personal pain that might occur….that level of competitiveness is innate and can only be refined with a sharper vision, quicker movements and an almost mystical presences/knowledge of his surroundings….Trust in his O-Line and having a sixth sense about what they are doing, having that same innate feel for all of his receivers……. True, GS is no JA….But he has the potential and more importantly, that innate burning desire to WIN.
