I like our roster, our compete, and our chances. Go Dawgs!
Would love to know how ESPN expresses with certainty the roster valuations of all these teams, as there is clearly no definitive, single-source-of-the-truth set of data, and "spoke to a mix of Power Four athletic directors, general managers, personnel executives, salary cap experts, agents and boosters" clearly guarantees nothing when it comes to accuracy… 🧐
Other than Ohio State, not a single one of those teams over the $40M threshold has won a National Championship…could that change this year?
"Georgia’s current recruiting class may reflect that, as the Bulldogs rank ninth per the 247Sports Composite rankings. If that holds, it would be the lowest-ranked recruiting class of Kirby Smart’s tenure. "
Negative. Georgia currently ranks 12th in the 247 Composite rankings, 9th in the 247Sport rankings. There is not a 247 Sports Composite ranking, it is one or the other., two entirely different algorithms. Interestingly enough, this year's 247Comp ranking is 91.09 points per player average, higher than Kirby's previous lows of 90.77 per player in 2016's 6th ranked class and 91.01 per player in last year's 2026 class. Everything may not be as bleak as it appears, just sayin.
