Georgia football ticket prices remain a hot item with the Bulldogs once again favored to win the SEC this season.

I can chime in here. As a season ticket holder since the 80's, you have the option to buy Jacksonville tickets every year. Doesn't matter if we're the home team or not since it's a neutral site. They aren't cheap either. This year, in the Benz, my tickets were $230 face value each and they're decent seats but not great, still upper level. I would also like to comment on the way the prices in the article refer to "get-in" prices. I'm pretty sure those are not good seats, upper level, high end zone, etc. Regular season tickets holders must contribute a sizable amount just to get the "ability" to buy season tickets. The more you contribute the better seats you have the opportunity to buy. They count the contribution as points, so you accumulate points based on how much you contribute over the years. In short, it's a cumulative amount of points. You don't make the contribution, they drop you. Last year, my contribution level even went up, so now, I'm paying even more. If you ever go to buy a ticket in the market, that's why the prices seem inflated to most people. Oh, and they charge you an additional fee for parking too.
BTW - I'm not rich (not even close) or a big-time contributor. I've sacrificed a lot to keep these tickets over the years because I love college football and watching my DAWGS between the hedges. A few times, I almost just gave them up because of the cost. There were even some years we didn't go on summer vacations and made going to the home games as our substitution for a vacation. Now that I'm transitioning into retirement, going to the games is part of my retirement plan, something I want to do during retirement. You know, like fishing or what golf is for others.

IMO....It's Not about politics or faces or Party's with me. It's about good common sense and good business. That's all...Math....Science...Physics...Common Sense. I don't care what face or label you put on it. We have to start thinking with our heads and not our hearts or emotions....if we are going to survive.
Same with the Bulldogs. Common Sense....they are going to win the SEC, The Natty...or both this year and maybe next. They will have 10 to 15 Draft Picks. As usual....cause they haven't changed the formula...just tweaked it a bit....imo.
Man....I'm with you....Football, Baseball, fishing, hunting, golfing....as the man said..."it don't get no better'n 'dat".
BUT.....Who knew it could cost so much, just to beat a little white ball all over Georgia and into every swamp between here and Alabama. Lmao....I'm getting' better though....cause I subscribe to the Kirby Method...."Better Never Rests". I got news for ya though...."neither does Death...or "The Taxman".....or The Walrus...coo-koo-cachoo. Lol...sorry, couldn't resist.
Hell....everything in retirement is expensive 'cept whittling and yard work. Tickets, Taxes, Tolls, Fees, Licenses, Meds, Peanut Butter....did I say Taxes & Fees. Go figure. Lol….one day at a time Sweet Jesus...that's all we're asking' of you.
On a side note (Lol)....I think we're in for something really special out of Athens, this year. And, I don't mean another REM. Lol. These boys are salty & trained, which separates them from the rest. Talent and Athleticism are a given….imo. So, no need to go into all of that.
Because I don't really know that much about where Texas and Oklahoma stand....I won't declare UGA Top Dawg just yet. But, the Fat Lady's warming' up as Dandy Don would say. I haven't been sold on the Greatness of Texas & Oklahoma....or the Competence of Sarkesian & Venables....despite ESPN, CBS and SI constantly pounding their drum in support.
The way ESPN covers it....you'd think it was anybody, but UGA and Kirby Smart putting on a clinic for Teams of all sports to emulate. Why do people still trust these Corporate News Generators. Lol
Clearly there was cause and effect and consequences to what happened during the auto-pen presidency. "Bidenomics" was a failure and an attempt to gaslight the American public. Inflation numbers were through the roof for '21 and '22. (7-9%)
Looked it up today. Gas prices under Trump number of weeks above $4/gal have been 12-14. Under Biden? 22-23 weeks.
CFB is the NFL Jr. It is a business. It is now trying to squeeze every dollor of revenue that it can. Popular sports trending to a pay per view model.
