I remember very well his recruitment and then his commitment to UGA. What a bunch of running backs we had in that 6 or 7 year period—Gurley, Chubb, and Michel! We can only wish.
I remember an article from you guys back in the day that he was interested in land business in his hometown to help build it up. Best of luck with your future ventures! GDG ❤️

I was fortunate to see the three greatest running backs in Georgia history, Herschel, Chubb and Gurley. Chubb is class, on and off the field. All athletes should be as humble as he is. His career would have been longer if it hadn’t been for that horrendous knee injury on that dump of a field at tenn. I remember the video of him jumping up in the picture above during a track meet. It doesn’t show it in the picture, but in the video, his feet went above the other track athletes’ heads. I thought, oh my, we are getting something awesome here. Go Dawgs!
