“He’s one of the highest-character individuals I’ve been a part of, never heard the guy complain,” Smart said at his press conference on Tuesday. “I saw him out there three years ago, hitting sleds all by himself outside my office, just trying to get better.”
I'm going to be watching for this dude throughout the season. He sounds like one of those "I'll find a way" people who can impress and inspire everyone around them. He will make his way onto the field because he is convinced that he belongs out there, and when he does he will not waste the opportunity!

I hope that the coaching staff will try to play as many players as possible in any games that may be a little mismatch but not just send them in to kill the clock but let them run the actual game plan. It’s frustrating to me to see say the backup QB go in late in the game and be instructed to simply hand off up the middle. It’s gotta be frustrating for the players too. Although it might not occur often there are those “ gamer” players that seem to perform better in actual game conditions than practice and it might be nice to find out. I’m not particularly concerned with being accused of running up the score but how bout possibly inserting these backups in meaningful plays earlier than with a 4-5 td lead. Like all UGA fans I’m super ready for the season to begin. Go Dawgs!

I'm with you. For these first two games, pull the starters after the first series and let's see what the 2's and 3's can do. Can always put the starters back in should it be necessary, but our 2's and 3's should be able to beat our first two opponents easily. Also, we definitely need to answer the question as to who our #2 QB is going to be. Meaningful game reps is the best way to determine this.
Every year we have that UGA feel good story, why not Mr Foster this year? Wish the kid well, he's got the right mindset, does he have the talent? I'm pulling for him.
Can say honestly, that I haven't seen his name in very many articles so I'm glad to see the young man geting some due respect.
