ATHENS — Looking at Elyiss Williams, you see why he was a 5-star tight end in the 2025 recruiting class.

Will be interesting to find out who the go to receiver will become
Heck yes!! Williams is a BEAST, and we must FEED the beast!!!
Don't forget KP….throw him and any two of the aforementioned TE's and you've got a 13/14? personnel nightmare for any D we face and just when you think youve gottem covered…..here comes RBU!!!!
Conner—Great article! Great line—"just a few doughnuts away from being an offensive tackle". Hoping he becomes the receiver we know he can be.
All this sounds good. Now, Bobo, throw him the **** ball and let the Big Dawg eat!! Go Dawgs!
With a great defense ready to complement this offense, there could be some team records set this season. This 2026 version of the Dawgs will go as far as the leadership can take it. Guys like Elyiss Williams, Darnell Washington, and many other current and past Dawg players during the CKS era, are special in maintaining patience and trusting in the process. They are team players first who fully embrace the mantra that "better days are ahead."
"They were both highly touted recruits who were a few doughnuts away from being offensive tackles."_____DN
Lol....I was like a lot of UGA's OT's and could've gone the other way with it.....A few donuts less, and I could've played TE or FB. But, once you've invested all that eating' time to gain size and power.…it's hard to give it up, for " speed". Lolol...besides, I'd rather stand my ground than run.
The Dawgs have massive talent from one end to the other. All we're doin' now, is nitpicking. Lol...too bad we won't get to see em play, till next weekend.
Go get em Big Red...see ya in a week. I'm not giving one red cent to ESPN and their cronies...even if it means, not seeing you play. But I'll be there in spirit.
I'm not sure they're gonna have just one go-to guy. They've got enough talent and speed at every position...to spread the ball all over the field. And, that's exactly what I expect Bono to do....when the time is right.
Imo...Saturday will be Vanilla Day. A scaled back scrimmage to give the younger guys valuable game experience. The Dawgs are very fortunate...or, Smart...to have scheduled 2 "cupcakes" in the first two games.
The scheduling strategy...creates the opportunity for an extra 2 weeks of preseason practice with a couple of lightweight scrimmages in between.
I predict September 26th to be The Dawgs D-Day (Disclosure Day...Lol). Bob's true offense won't reveal itself...before needed. And, Kirby prefers to keep the ball on the ground and out of the opponent's hands. He'll do THAT…as long as it's successful.
Imo....Kirby & Bobo won't start slingin' the ball....till you stop their ground game. I'm not so sure, anybody CAN stop UGA's run game, this season. We'll see. Lol
I agree with you, but I'd love to start the offensive season with a first play touchdown pass, just to show the world what we can do (at will).
Go, Dawgs!
Actually....in the first two games...or, at a minimum....the first game, I think I would start my #2 QB and, do just that. Throw the ball some. The WR's, TE's & RB's need some work, too.
I absolutely agree....1st Game/1st Half.....give the fan base and players a little red meat to chew on for a couple of weeks. Put on a show with your backup QB's, after Stockton gets as couple of TD's....And, start building a little momentum, right now....while improving depth and experience across the board. I'd spread the reps around for the interior OL. Keep the Top 5 or 6 fresh for the SEC Run.
Imo....it won't get real, till the Ark & Tex Games. We'll find out, pretty quick, how far the Dawgs have come, since '25. I'm betting...light years. Lol
I meant Oklahoma...not Texas. Lol...you can tell I just visited ESPN's website. They've got Texas Teams splashed all over their website....as usual. Lol
So 3 years ago we heard that Luckie was going to be the next big thing at TE with the buzz he created as an early enrollee before the Free Shoes game.
Then last year Barbor was the next big thing at TE. He started the season opener.
Now, this year, 1st Reddell and now Williams aee now the next big thing at TE.
I sure hope CMB is extra busy working on his 4 TE formations. Seems like too much talent to let languish on the bench.
Seems like there’s enough pass-catching TE talent with to cover any WR shortcomings. Dawgs have always been blessed at the position, but in 40+ years don’t recall having the diversity of skill this roster brings.
Right!??.…Lol...I agree. Their Tight End Romm rivals any Running Back Room in the Country. You can't let that slide....UGA "has to" find a way to get those guys on the field
They should be a Holy Terror n the Red Zone.especially with heir Loaded RB Room and a mobile quarterback. Lol....can't wait.
Imo....The key to UGA's '26 success was generated last year, while liberally playing, inexperienced Fr and So during those injury stretches and Cupcake Games.
They didn't rack up a lot of yards and points at the time....and, received a lot of criticism for "not running up the score for the pollsters".
Now....we get to see the Payoff. This year is gonna be very special....imo.
Go get em Big Red! Lock them jaws and don't let go till February. Lol
