Yeah, I'm not thrilled with it either. Seems an attempt to make the Georgia colors more prominent. Guess we should feel lucky the background isn't red! Wait a minute, maybe red background with black print is worth a shot?! Nah, go back to old-school, leave the color scheming to the merch and swag. Go Dawgs!
Amen. I remember being a student there when tickets were $2 a game and the entire upper deck of the student section was virtually empty. I'll take Kirby's days over those days every day.
Like to admit it or not, losing a 6'4" 320 lb DT/NT w/3 yrs experience and 2 years in the UGA system is a setback for the '26 D. You gonna count on Jordan Hall to be on the field all game, all year? Good luck with that. Or a freshman with strength issues (according to none other than CKS)? Good luck w/that too. XM was counted on to play a major role in the '26 rotation.
Maybe the UGA coaches will see the light and turn Zykie Helton loose at DT instead wasting his athleticism on the OL.
I don't know what the future holds for XM. Something tells me he will rethink this decision and enter the TP when it next opens. Most people don't remember that he refused to play more than 4 games his freshman year at SC so he could preserve eligibility before his transfer to UGA.
you are right about McCleod. I remember he was dismissed from south Carolina’s but didn’t remember why.
