Redell is a beast, whether its blocking, catching the ball, YAC, or using him as they did Bowers running jet sweeps. Think I'd hold off a minute or two before claiming he's as good as Brock though. I know it was a lesser opponent with TS, but he looked almost unstoppable while he was on the field. Given time, he will be another great TE for the DAWGS..GoDAWGS!

There was scuttlebutt of a TE turning heads in camp. All Kirby or anybody else knew about Bowers before his arrival, came in the form of tape and video of his games and workouts. There was some anticipation of an Isaac Nauta or better....but, the 6'7" Washington, got all the focus.
Imo....Reddell is a different animal. Like Bowers and Washington....he appears to be a Man among Boys. Just sayin'. Lol...and EW ain't bad, either.
What's funny to me, is.…we don't hear a lot about the Dawgs on the major sports venues. No money in it. Got nothing' to do with truth or reality.
I think ESPN/ABC/Disney....thought they bought CFB when they cornered the market. And, call all the shots....including Referees (tic) and Game Times.

I thought Bowers left for the NFL….it was Reddell! Beast! He should do just as well next weekend as Western KY got literally hammered by Nevada 49 to 14! Another UGA scrimmage. Lovin' it!
Best part of yesterday was watching Bobo finally figure out the gold he has had in the TE room. Need to see this kind of performance and TE use against SEC competition, before I'm convinced Bobo has FINALLY crossed over to our DARK and glorious side!
I've been waiting for him to hit the field ever since that photo that made him look like he was 6" taller than everyone else. I don't know how the image was manipulated to achieve that look but watching him yesterday he looked like a more massive Brock Bowers. This is going to be a great year for the Dawgs.

That's what I call a Hybrid Tight End. A new use for an old position. Lol....and Kirby did it better...if not first. They're breaking new ground with the TE...which appears to be a combination Blocking Lineman, Wide Receiver and Running Back.
I wonder if it was at the NFL's request...in order to spread the touches around and replace the "running quarterback". Cause the quarterback injury rate is getting so high among the running QB's....& Backs for that matter. I can feel the game changing...just watching UGA play.

Certainly looks like Brock running, somewhat less bent over than many runners, but powerful.
I watched the game a second time to try to see Elijah Griffin make some plays. I didn't see him, but for the 1st 2 defensive plays ,# 90. Did anyone see him more? I haven't heard he was hurt.
Warning Off Topic some. I echo all the comments Reddell IS indeed a Beast Dawg !! Looking ahead though Dawgs are gonna Need their very best play. There is some very stiff competition ahead. I Know one game at a time. That’s how it should be.
But realistically it shouldn’t even be close with W.KY and Ark. The real test begins when OU comes to town. There are serious challenges ahead after OU as well. I Believe in our Dawgs. I honestly do. They Can win the Ntl. Title. But they need to be Intense and Focused every single game. As a fan I can look ahead, no harm, no foul, but the Dawgs can’t .
This Dawgs team is Loaded with talent !! Everyone just Stay intense and Stay focused. I already Know Dawgs fans will Fully support them !! Go Dawgs !!
