I hope "week to week" means there's no hurry to get him out there before the OU game. Injuries are never ideal, but this stretch of the schedule will give Linton a chance to get healthy, and gives PJ a chance to get some playing time under his belt. I liked what I saw on Saturday (even against TS) from this defense, and I would like to see them force a couple of turnovers per game going forward. They have the talent to be the best defense in the country!

PJ is very exciting, but… The truth is, he is young and can be fooled. Two years from now, people will say great things about him. Right now, he can be really right or really wrong. Brooks is the same. Both need to really focus on the next couple games and try and get to 75-80% functionality.
As I was reading the article before I got to it I was thinking if they have to couldn’t they move Gabe Harris there ? Sure enough the article got to that point also have Gibson that can be moved there. It all depends on these young guys progress and Who we are playing. But I think all told we’ll be OK at that position.
More gloom and doom...

I don't see it as gloom and doom, just realism. We've never played so many freshmen, and they aren't ready. Kirby said it himself. But, they can get there. Hopefully faster.
It's a function of the NIL, where 5 stars and 4 stars refuse to wait. Miami will pay them now. Even if they are subpar coaches, not preparing kids for the NFL. Half a mIllion now vs waiting for bunches of millions in a couple years. Hard for some to be mature at 19. So, Georgia loses a defensive end to Missouri that we trained, and then Miami buys him. And we play freshmen.
The defense is back. Johnson is better, Dean coming on, Cole is amazing. Been waiting three years to see it again.
