Dawgs move up to #2 in both polls. Of course you won't hear about that from Dawgnation for hours. I'd rather have the Dawgs fly under the radar but here we are. LSU up to #8 in both.
I’m so glad Kirby said what he said about improving from Game 1 to Game 2, not necessarily being true. I always thought that was a silly statement that so many people just automatically repeated without any proof. FSU beat Alabama in its first game last year, then the ‘Noles face-planted the rest of the year. UGA could easily regress this Saturday if they aren’t careful.
Also, I’m going to say it now; I think Isaiah Canion is just going to be average. Despite the hype, I was underwhelmed by his signing, underwhelmed by his preseason camp, which translated to an underwhelming Game 1. I’m hoping Taylor and a couple of other wide receivers surpass expectations because think Canion will be another one of our transfer portal duds.
I think the overwhelming improvement on the OL will cure a lot of ills. I would bet the house that the Dawgs won't have any trouble scoring on first and goal from inside the ten on OLD piss this time around.
