If the offense can continue this pace throughout the season, they will be hard to stop. Defense is going to show up every week, by end of season, this could be one of, if not the best defense under Kirby's leadership. I know the teams are about to start getting tougher on the schedule. But, I dont think we've seen all the DAWGS have to offer either..GoDAWGS!
Very messy in the second half including 14 points in the 4th quarter. What was a clear blowout turned into fumbles, poor backup QB play and defensive breakdowns by the backups
We played everybody but the cheerleaders. 2, 3 and scout team players all got some. I hate to give up points, but Kirby is going to play the backups when the game is safe. It's a long season and our biggest threat is injuries, not the team ego. Having said that, it's just going to give Kirby something to complain about during practice :)
I completely agree, the guys that gave up most of those points late in the game aren’t even on the depth chart.
Another beatdown of a much inferior opponent. Good to see. Sounds like Tyriq Green was the only real casualty. Not good but at least he's not a starter DB.,
I am simply not impressed at all with the play of our backup QBs these last 2 games, especially against such cupcake teams. Again, Kirby most likely hitting the portal for next season.
Couple of things. The defense was getting to Gunner, he took some hits. The first team O and D looked good but other than the one offensive TD in the second half and the kickoff return, the subs didnt play as well. Kirby even said they didn’t play up to Georgia standards. Too many balls on the ground. Kirby needs to address the celebrations, it cost him against Tenn on that Hail Mary in his first year and we lost to tech one year because of that. Celebrate on the sidelines. Other than that the first team looks prime for a run. Kirby said the white uniforms were a distraction 🤣
Let the big dawg eat so BBQ HOG next week
Next week the schedule toughens….The Dawgs first road game…albeit with the weakest team in the SEC…the challenge…..hold the Razorbacks to less than the 61 yards rushing than they earned against The Utes, rack up more than 4 sacks, hold them to less than 200 yards passing by snagging more than 2 INT's…..That's the news, BUT the great news is : "Cryin Ryan" and the Bucknuts were beat again by an SEC team by ONE point from 20 points behind, in the final seconds….bring on the Big 10 cupcakes to save their season…
And OSU missed a field goal near the end that could have put the game away. Sounds a little familiar.
I know it was wet, but Puglisi and Montgomery's passes were off target. I know the game was in hand, but I would have liked it if Buddha had a few pass attempts.
